20k Account dropping in followers

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 20k Instagram account fan page centered around the New York Yankees. I got it for a cheap price, so was looking to monetize it for a little and then flip it. The only problem is, ever since I have taken it over the followers have dropped, around 200 in the last week. The posts still get a thousand likes each and 10k impressions, so not sure what's going on.

Any ideas?

100% real. A good amount of professional players themselves follow the account.

Maybe the account's contents not relevant like how it was at the beginning stage.

Maybe the followers you are losing are bots account that got disabled, and the followers got down. It may be possible that the previous owner has bought some followers.

improve your content. use hashtags and reels. try to cooperate with another page so you can receive new followers.
