Okay guys, I am pretty news at IM but been developing websites for 7+ years. I decided to give CB a try and so far I don't think I can do this or CB sucks or the offer sucks.

I am in not hurry to make thousands a day so I am only buying traffic from adcenter and writing 3 articles a day on the product. So far I have gotten 205 hops and 0 sales!

I have tried direct linking to their pitch page, and I am not trying my own LP then going to their pitch page. Any ideas? the product is the maverick money makers club, anyone have any experience with this?

thanks

205 hops is far too low of a number to even be able to make a decision on if you should switch products or not, just keep at it. Something will click.

I thought nobody was going to answer your thread either. Zero sales and zero responses might have been too much for you to bear. Lol

I agree with the advice above. Keep at it.

That's what they all say. Something has been up with CB for the last year and a half. They don't have everything together if you know what I mean. Notice... watch the gurus; they even stopped using clickbank a while ago for their major products launches. Enough said. ;)

What type of product is it? If its a weight loss product they conversion for them are pretty low. In my opinion it depends on how available the info on the clickbank product is on the internet. If its easily obtainable information you will have a harder time selling it. The product I am promoting with CB is selling at one in every 10-15 clicks because its not something you can find easily on the net.

i know I was reading a post about CB not showing sales even for the regular sellers on here, so i just want to make sure im not just throwing my money away hoping that something will actually convert and it is a make money from home type of product

I would create a new CB account and change your hop-links and give it a week. If still getting hops but no sales, look at what keywords you're targeting, as more then likely they're not keywords that would not normally lead to someone whipping out a credit card and making a purchase.

As for 200 hops, I've heard on other forums that that's an "ok" # of hops to determine if the product is worth continuing to promote...if not, then what is a good number for hops before pulling the plug.

200 hops and 0 conversions isnt enough to tell to kill a product? i mean realistically thats just bad advice if hes ppc that's a crapload of cash you can drop on 200 clicks and 0 sales ... either fine tune the ppc targetting or swap products is my advice.

Look, you statisticians are completely full of shit. No sales means no sales regardless of the stats. I made money with FL4I and now I don't. Bottom line. ClickBank is stealing or bullshitters or incompetent in allowing affiliate theft. That's the fact, Jack.

First off, don't let the number trick you. For testing measures you should try to get few thousands of hops (maybe 2 thousands) and then see if that works or not. The other thing is that you are trying to promote a product that's very competitive... last time I checked it had around 300 gravity which I wouldnt recommend to a newbie like you in this field of knowledge. Take a look at products that has gravity around 100, that's the number you should aim at.

I am going to start setting up for another offer and let this one run until Monday and see if anything happens, if not oh well ill take my loses and move on to the next one. btw Im at 341 hops

Hmmm yea im going through kinda the same problem but I just started, im not converting shit I dont know why. People are telling me its generally cause of the recession and other guys st*ffing and stealing affiliated but im not sure who to believe.

my hops are approaching 200 mark. Let's see I can make any sales.... will let you know :)

i gave up on CB and mae much more through cpa. fuck cb, i promoted the lot, maverick money makers and all the pther products and gots tons of hops but afer a month with no sales i gave up because no-one wants to work for free!

but I think clickbank type of comission places are alot cooler cause they are set it and forget it, as long as u put in that initial work to get your page popular and it starts converting you dont have to ever to work agian. Where as CPA you get the money pretty quickly as your doing work but once u stop the money stops, if you get what i mean.

Yeah I have stopped the offer, ending at 431 hops. My LP is converting at 75% from all traffic sent to it, but their pitch page either sucks ass or they are not showing sales because I can't believe that people actually click on the signup link to go and then ALL of them bail out.

Moving on to another service, has anyone ever worked with shareasale or clixGalore? If so how are they?

I have heard good things about paydotcom . com. Used them a little bit, but never had a problem with clickbank.

  • Try promoting more than one offer, and see what are the HOT offers that people want these days.
  • Target countries like US, CA, UK ....
  • Use google adword (after doing keywords research - for CPC)

Hmm so I switched offers, and went with a product with a gravity of about 100-200 and made a product page with three offers, and i just made my first sale :) feels good. Required minimal PPC (about 15 clicks) and one or two articles. Although I don't know if its just a lucky one since the market is not very popular.
