So I am running my personal account that I wish to keep forever as a business IG. The niche I am in is beat making/Music production. I have a lot of services I offer in theme of music production(buy beats, mixing, mastering, graphic deisgn, ect). Every post is a beat with a nice visual to it.

So my question is what is the best way for me to gain real followers with at least 20-30% engagment?

Currently only using Jarve; F/UF, like, comment, and DM

What are my other options here and best methods for this niche?

I only use YouTube and IG. My main goal is to have a good following on YouTube and IG as I want to be a mainstream YouTube producer.

Examples of very big producers on YouTube; CXDY, KyleBeats, Areis.

Examples of where I want to be in at least a month: NOXX, PRODXVII

If you've got some money to spend I'd suggest you pay an influencer or an account with 50k - 100k followers in your niche to promote your account in their posts or stories.

Hello,

I have to disagree with shoutout method. It won't work as it used too, it will work for sure(you WILL see results) but crap results, shoutouts aren't working as before by far far far away.

Using bots, will drop your engagement, you'll never reach 30% FOR SURE. The user you mentioned "PRODXVII" is at 10% but he only has 1900 followers. You need a LOT to learn from what can I see, I will tell you some things:

1. More followers = less eng. rate (usually) or at least that you are a very hot babe.
2. Engagement rate in general terms tend to be 5-15% (in very good accounts), when botting it will be 0,20-4% at maximum
3. If your goal is engagement rate, stop doing botting. Specially in your niche, again, if you are a hot girl, nice model guy or something like that, then even botting won't affect you that much. But for high eng. rate this days you will have to work a lot and to apply advanced strategies.
4. Advanced strategies to follow:
4.1. PowerServices
4.2. FanPage method
4.3. DM groups.
4.4. Outstanding quality posts.
4.5. Good hashtaghs
4.6. NO botting in your main account.
4.7. Have true goals. I'm not saying isn't possible, but 30% eng. rate is a tremendous hard goal in IG nowadays.

If I was you, instead of searching 30% eng. rate I will seek for 5% eng. rate with a lot of followers. It will by far best than 30% with little amount of followers. Justin bieber just has 3% eng. rate for example :)

Cheers,
David.

As a producer myself, I'm gonna follow this.
Right now my youtube and IG are slacking but i have really high engagement for the extremely small amount of people that check my shit out.
One thing that helps out a lot that I notice my friend does(he has 30k followers and produced for people such as yung bans, ynw melly, smokepurpp, ALL the new rappers), is he collabs a lot and he ALWAYS is flexing on ig
keyword: flexing. Not Posting beats. he posts beats on his story, but not on his TM.

Thanks for the reply, I have a few questions though.

1. PowerServices...
Would this be anything like Statalytics AutoPods? I currently use their service. Is it worth the 20 dollars a month?

2. FanPage
Is this where I would just create "fans" of my page and bot them?

3. DM groups
I still really dont know what DM groups are and what they are good for? Is it niche based?

The thing that is really getting to me is the fact that there are other small YouTube producers that have succeeded me in a shorter amount of time than I have been doing this for and I can tell you right now I am producing higher quality content.

How does this guy have such good connections? You mind sharing your YouTube?

Do what supreme Patty and all of those dudes did, post dumb videos of you doing crazy sh*t and then pay meme pages to post the videos in their page. Or buy a child account service (saw a good one here in BHW) but this would be better if you where taking the wannabe model route.

This is less of a business/serious type of account approach but it will for sure get you follows and publicity.

If I'm correct, he's been making beats since he was 15/16 and just knew a lot of people, and eventually one of the people he would give beats to got famous.
he gave away A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of beats in the making though. Now he has his own studio, rn he's in LA recording a video starting his own rap career.
he's helping me out too so all I can say is network and get your beats out to people you actually want to hear on your beats. You're more likely to grow better as a producer as a whole.

I will say this:
he DID buy his first 7k followers(Now he's at 15k, took about a year though)
he tries the viral post approach but it doesn't really work as well when you're a producer, as you're trying to market beats to rappers not soap on the tv nor a crazy rap career that is meant to be devoured by the public ear.
His beatstars doesn't really sell much.

this dude literally just got shouted out on No Jumpers podcast. It's lit.

Hello,

1. Statalytics AutoPods is DM groups basically (in short terms). PowerService means PowerLikes, PowerComments, PowerSaves and/or PowerViews. And yes, these are by far more expensive than 20 dollars per month. It ranges of prices are from 400-2000 usd/month (yes, is insane).

2. Yes.

3. I've answered this in the 1. point.

Yes. That's how thing works. There is a lot of YouTubers/Influencers that are crap but have million of followers, but there is a LOT of really good dudes than never had succeed.

Cheers,
David.

I am a producer as well so i understand where you are coming from. Here's some suggestions I have

1 Like they said before you could make a beat page and run a bot with that page instead of your main one.

2. Try and make content that can benefit producers on youtube and get a following from that e.x (Nick Mira, KBeazy, etc.)

3. Also like before you should be making connections with people. Search up the hashtags for example #mixtapeotw, #unsignedrapper, etc. to find artist who you like to work with.

I can't stress #3 enough because this is how i was able to make a connection with one of PnB Rock's affiliates.
