2015: oDesk vs Elance (vs Freelancer, etc)

I've used both, never had troubles. In my opinioni Odesk freelancers are a little bit more professional but it's just my sensations.

Odesk charges are much more compared to the forums sections. I too hired few people, but the money was gone and the workers did not completed in the given time. Elance never tried and from freelancer looks very worse for me.

This helps prevent spam. Individuals should be proficient and work in their best industry. You might have a good track record in SEO and a bunch of apps coded but one of those you're better at than the other and that's what Elance wants you to do.
