I assume its 7,500 in 24 hours. Maybe you didn't wait a full 24 hours?

You should less the no of following, it may banned your account not now but when instagram review, so you should be careful.

It could possibly be that some of the people you are following are private so they have to approve of it, which would mean that they don't show up on your following list if they haven't accepted or declined your follow request!!! So I think so limit is still 7500!

I have no idea why anybody would let their following count hit that high. Regardless of your amount of followers you lose all respect and creditability having that number looking so high. Manage your count properly and unfollow as much as you follow. Simple.

Don't a lot of people have following counts much higher than that?

Are you unfollowing and following in the same day?

I tried following 100 accounts in a day and my account got blocked, they keep asking for my number and when I enter, the account still does not get activated. I cannot share any post, like or comment on any pics nor able to follow anyone.

There are many probabilities. Is your account newly made ? Are you using proxy ? Did you use the same number in some other accounts ?

You can bypass the hourly follow/unfollow limit if you do it on several devices/programs...
    example:
You run out of follows on your phone app, so you then use another integral partner app and max that out and so on. It works for iPads and iPhones to my knowledge. I would follow on my phone until i couldn't then open pad gram on my iPad and follow until i couldn't then open instagram on my iPad and follow till i couldn't etc etc... you can do this for however many instagram related apps you can find. My account is 3 years old but I've done this on new accounts so iknow it works.
    It works for unfollowing too.
Let me know it this helps!

    Its been awhile but...
I'm using padgram, instagram (original app) and followers+ along with instagram on my iPhone. I had a few other but i can't remember the names. You shouldn't need more than 6 apps if your doing it manually.
let me know if this helps!
