tell me if I am wrong:

    SEO SCENARIO 2013
    We build tier 1
we build tier 2 pointing to tier 1
we might build tier 3 to support tier1 and/or tier 2

Reason for tier 2 and 3:
To get the crappy freely available tier 1 links INDEXED and to get the tier `1 links to be powerfull, just so they can pass link juice to our money site.

    MY SCENARIO:
Instead of doing the above, why not just get HIGH PAGE RANK, powerful links?
When you think about it, tier 1, 2 and 3 take a lot of time, resources and cash

    MY QUESTION:
Why not just buy in content and sidebar/footer/hidden links that are already strong, that would need no support???

    TIME IS MONEY!!
the end result will be the same!!!

    Am I wrong???

    P.S.
    I'm getting smashed...lol

I understand all the link diversity
tier 3 to point to tier 1 and tier 2
tier 4 ( indexing) pointing to tier 2 and 3

    MY POINT:
the amount of time it takes to build all these press releases, web 2.0 properties, social bookmarks...you can just buy links ( buy smart, stay under radar) and be ahead of the game
Buying links is not cheap, I understand that as well

    I own 45 sites
I own 2 legit offline businesses ( hospitality related)
I spend 3 hours a day almost every day doing seo
That amounts to 90 hours average a month
I value my time at least $100 an hour ( even 100 is low...)
so then I am better off spending $9k a month and spend the 90 hours towards running my businesses

    feel me?

    AND HERE IS THE WARNING:
You are better off buying quality links, then using your time towards other activities
    rather than
you building all tier 1,2 3, xxx

So much emotion with the exclamation marks and such. But I personally believe you are not wrong. A good link is a good link. Just gotta go about it correctly.

If you can afford powerful Tier 1 links, then there is no need to build additional tiers.

Remember high PR pages have "tiers built in" already (ie links pointing to it), and that's why they already have high PR.

So yes if you can, cut out the middleman and go with straight high powered links.

That's what i toughts as well, but wasn't sure... it's a bad thing to link tier 3 to tier 1, right?
Tier 3 linking to tier 1 is in fact called tier 2, still right?
