what are you views on the mayan calender showing time as ending around that date.

Looked like a big marketing scheme from the start.. "Buy this book to learn more!" "Products to save your life".

Though there is a lot happening on 2012. Like a new election running around close to Dec.. The way things are going though, you never know.. The end of the world? Highly doubt it.. If you believe that then please pm me to get a link to my electric generator product affiliate link..

but the mayan calender isn't saying the 'end of the world' its more like a end of a epoch.
a end of a time period I guess. I dunno guys... with all the hours I spend infront of this thing... the 9-5 time I used to live in sure has ended...

I think it's supposed to be 12.12.2012 .. or 12.21.2012 that their calender ends.
It is hard for me to think their is a certian date when everything will end but the way things are going now - Gas, War, Crime, Economy, Global Warming, ect it would not suprise me if the world was a real crappy place in 3.5 years.
 
Its all B.S. come on look at all the hype around the year 2000(remember the world was going to end) people have been predicting the end of the world since the dawn of man. There will always be an armageddon date or the world is coming to a end predition. Guess what the world is going to end sooner or later by either war, cosmic space, or some stupid shit man kind does. But setting a date give me a break. I will bet someone 100,000 dollars it wont end on that date i will even put it in an escrow account. And if the world ends on that date you win and get 100k.
 
I dont really believe in it either. Anyways if the world ends then so be it. No point stressing about it. Sooner all later the world ends for each living creature, right?
 
Sadly it more crap from people many who claim to be christian.
There are clues to the end times written in scripture but this change of stuff is false teaching. One clue is Matt: 24 Where Jesus is ask what will be the signs of the end times.

The mayans weren't saying that it was the end of the world, they were saying it was the end of time.

There calender just ends at 2012... and its the most complex calender ever. I've heard from someone who studied the calender indepth that he actually thinks there is a miscalculation and the calender is suppose to end in 2045.

I heard that there were actually more calendars & documents than we all think, that several were actually burned when they (the spaniards) were trying to convert the Mayans to Christianity. Not sure if that's true or not? But, perhaps.

Anyway, not much of a believer here.
 
I heard the same thing. That 2012 just marks some sort of advancement that we will start taking. Maybe rise of robots or something. But yea, I heard that there were more calendars, but the spaniards just destroyed them.

All the astronomers say about 2012 is that we will be perfectly aligned with the center of our galaxy and there will be an increase in solar flares. Some huge asteroids here and there and that's it. Not too worried about 2012.
