2012

Notable events that are predicted or defined by calendars or even prophets, astrologers, fortune tellers, soothsayers, seers etc. ...ALL seem to have a common characteristic.....

......One can almost always fit or match some incident or event that happened with the prediction, after the predicted date ........... perhaps because a person so very much wants to either believe in it, or simply force matches prediction and event contingencies where they really are none.

Other times, when events though were paired in time, might not have had any mutual relationship or caustive origins for each other (e.g. everytime I raise my arm and pressed a red button, a door would open...did pressing the red button open the door? Or perhaps raising my arm triggered an infra red sensor, which then opened a door?)

... then there are skeptics who would pooh pooh everything

Perhaps, we as humans will always have some sort of fascination with predictions and predictability because we want control of the future or of the unknown, of which, really, there can be none (control, that is ).

....this post is reading almost like a tabloid column now. ..... Anyway........

Basically 2012 is BULLSHIT

I have lived through 3 predicted end times so far, getting ready to put #4 (2012) notch in my belt.

Anyway on a brighter note I'm writing an ebook "100 Ways to Make it Through End Times" and a upsell of "End Times for Dummies", with free bonus "Armegedddon: Before and After" and "Create Gas with the Power of Thought"

The film's most significant expert is Ramtha, a 35,000-year-old warrior-guru (channeled by middle-aged blonde JZ Knight), who teaches the acolytes at his "school of enlightenment"?including What the Bleep?

This new age crap is simply distortions of quantum physics to support a mystical viewpoint.

The premise of the film is that quantum mechanics proves a conscious observer is necessary to create reality. The conclusion is we literally create reality with our thoughts.

Don?t believe me? You don?t have to because David Albert, the professor from the Columbia University physics department who was featured in the film, is quoted in Salon.com saying:

I was edited in such a way as to completely suppress my actual views about the matters the movie discusses. I am, indeed, profoundly unsympathetic to attempts at linking quantum mechanics with consciousness. Moreover, I explained all that, at great length, on camera, to the producers of the film ... Had I known that I would have been so radically misrepresented in the movie, I would certainly not have agreed to be filmed.

Some people interpret the mayan calander to mean that 2012 will be "The End Of The World As We Know It" not necessarily the end of days...

Whats going to happen in 2012? 2012 Olympics in London!

Perhaps the Mayans, at the year 2012/2021, however you interpret it, began to get writers cramp and just said fuck it. (10th millennium inhabitants.) The Mayans, as a people, and civilization, knew they weren't going to be around that long anyway.

Got to remember this guys "everything is temporary".

Yepp.. And it did. At least in my calendar. I don't know about yours since some continues in some in 1998 but mine ended at december 31 1998.

Several things to keep in mind:

-The Dec. 2012 date was not only the Mayan calculation, but also the Aztecs, and the Sumerians.

-The timing coincides with the closely held third secret of Fatima, which was leaked only recently. The Pope was allegedly informed in the late '80's that the girls who saw the vision of Mary were divinely informed Armageddon would happen in the 2010's.

-Calculations of Isaac Newton as to the date of Christ's crucifixion (14 Nisan15, or April 1, 33 AD/CE) provide an anchor for the theory that the end times begin exactly two biblical 'days' (two thousand years) after that date. Depending on whether 'gentile' years (365 day years) or 'Jewish' years (360 day years) are used, the end times begin either by 2033, or sometime in 2008.

I thought that a new world or something will open in 2012?

I think jesus christ and god will return around this time,

Prob be futuristic seeming as it'd be a new generation or something. or maybe no one will bother in that year because everyone will be scared of dieing. No i am not scared of dieing i say bring it on.
