For those of you not making anything or barely scraping a dime here is a mindset that will get you two being able to depend on IM for a living. Hopefully we can sticky this so we won't get all those posts about people begging for a quick buck.
Do you ever get those .10 cent days? Are they every day? Well that's a good thing. Yeah you read that right. It's a freaking good thing.
Those few cent days mean that you can actually do it - something out there is working for you, the only thing you have to do is make more SITES in the same area you are making those "few cents".
Let's say you have 4 sites and they're making $3 in total from adsense. Now let's say you scaled up 20 sites - that's $15 a day.
Then again you'd have to pay for domains and that's possibly money you don't have. Well there's a solution for that too! Subdomains! The backlinks you have given to your main domain will positively effect all of your subdomains - and any negative SEO you might do to your subdomains won't effect your main domain.
This way you don't have to pay that $10 fee every time for each new domain or even that $1 fee for new domains.
If you're running a wordpress site you can speed up the process even more:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-multi-site-enabler-plugin-v10/
That will enable multisite for you so you can create more subdomains for your website on the fly.

Forget those stupid instant money dreams that were promised to you from all those ebooks and pages about making money online. I had to work for my ass off for my earnings that I'm seeing to day and they weren't just from making one site or a few sites and then hoping for a miracle. There really aren't too many people that just kick back from IM. I've talked to Pofecker who in an ADMINISTRATOR at this forum - he's making a lot of money - but he's still working like a madman.
