Hi,
Has ANYONE got a site up and tried the offline marketing with business cards?
It seems like this idea has a lot of interest but people either aren't taking action or they don't want to share feedback albeit good or bad.
This idea has the potential to be awesome and there is NO harm sharing our ideas - after all we're targeting a market of people that is millions strong (who doesn't want to earn additional money, especially in this current economic climate).
I've got my site ready. And I have business cards printed. I've also added a little twist to the whole process. I'm looking for people to share success with on this idea. Perhaps organise some sort of content sharing system but at the very least report back to each other with feedback from marketing efforts....
If anyone is as serious as this idea as me then get in touch.

Have you been talking to any of the others on Skype lately? One guy has his site up and already has a subscriber. I wont mention his name. I'll leave it up to him if he wants to share that.
I will def. be interested in a content sharing system. Like I said in the meeting, just give me about a month or so to get up and running. Its physically impossible for me to start this right now. I am in the middle of moving into a new house and I need to finish op a contest type niche site I've been working on for a while.
Hopefully everyone is still interested in this idea by then and hasn't given up.

For the script, I'm using amember pro.
Banned from where? I've corresponded with him via his ticket support system, but he made no mention of being banned.
i got an email from him saying he has been banned from BHW...he is not sure why and thought it might have to do with the mods not liking something about the meeting we had. if thats why he got banned i guess I dont see the rationale behind it.

He doesn't appear to be banned. His account looks active to me.
Perhaps because there was a fee for the call session and this is not posted under "For sale".
Whatever it was, he is active now.
there wasnt a fee. it was just a "security deposit". We all got it back at the end of the call.
Now that's an original guerrilla marketing technique. I wish I had thought of that when I was into satellite TV installs... lol
To those of you who are getting a pretty good traffic flow of new customers for your offline marketing, what type of contract are you using for new clients? One that you created or possibly one you had a lawyer write up?
I ask because I've started doing some CL posting and before I get my first few clients, I realized I don't really have anything in 'writing' to offer to my clients in way of what work I'll do for them, what I will and WILL NOT Guarantee, etc, etc.,
So, if anyone has sort of a pre-written 'template' they wouldn't mind sharing...one that I could of course easily rewrite or what not, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Fantastic idea and has been something I've been churning around in my head for a while now but now that I have time and some funds to invest I'm ready to gear it up and attack.
In regards to the skype get together.... Anybody interested in throwing around some ideas in another limited numbers group chat. Be keen to bounce some ideas around and see what comes up, especially with European based marketers. PM me and I'll do all the legwork and set up a time etc.

Very interesting idea.I have been looking to do somthing along these lines for awhile now. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with this yet? Let us know some results.

I'm still around. Been very busy lately with Webinars and consulting with small business owners so it hasn't given me much of a chance to visit BHW.
From what I've seen from our Skype chat room most of the people are busy creating their own membership sites and getting them ready. Which is why you're not seeing very much feedback.
I sold mine membership site about a week or two ago when I realized I could not support it the way I would have liked to. I had a little more than 800 paid members at the time. Most of them just in the last four months.
As I mentioned on the Skype chat session a few weeks ago this economy is driving people to sites like this. All you have to do is position yourself in front of the traffic. Don't wait to get your whole site up. As soon as you have at least 14 days worth of content get out there and start working the business.
I started conducting Webinars on this subject back on the first of January and each time I have one it quickly sells out. Some of the Webinar attendees already have a hundred or more paid members. All of the attendees were newbies (less than a year experience). I know you guys are a lot smarter and could do a lot better.
