Jimbeam,

I don't. Am using normal html squeeze page straight to autoresponder and then give content via emails and html pages.

Created my first video content yesterday and more today

sorry if this sounds retarded but what the crap is a squeeze page?

a page specifically for collecting email addresses

This is what the delivery of the content looks like for each day:

The project is coming along well, I think I'll need another week to do this as I still have to open a new bank account to do this properly, cause I probably will sell up. Speak soon and take action. Tonight I'm creating my 2nd video out of the 14 free trial.

Ok so I've written my copy for the offer letter.

On the offer letter, I have a video at the top explaining what they are gonna get and some copy under neath just more or less re confirming the video.

I not sure what the right copy length for offline prospects. So this is pure guess work.

Tomorrow is when I go all out by posting up the business cards. I'm burning my ships.
I have 3 video tutorials created so I have no choice but to finish the remaining 11 (14 day free trial) cause the 3 videos will run out by Friday (assuming I get one subscriber)

So basicall the 14 days trial is for making money using free methods ie get a blogger blog etc and get amazon links etc

But the advanced videos go into buying domains and hosting and owning a real site.

My problem is that after I finish that set of tutorials I'm kinda stuck what else to offer the subscribers?

Do you think just information relating to the industry is enough? Instead of "HOW TO Info" do you think info such as mindset, industry issues might be good?

I guess I can provide plr but then the plr out there are outside my niche marketing model ie amazon It sounds like I might have to start going into teaching how to promote an info product such as clickbank

What does everyone else think?

Come on, we need more discussion here, great thread but no ones talking. Either you lot are all rich with this method or this thread has died?

try "geo-targeting" as well guys,
print up 100-250 business cards that say... idk
"Tired of flea markets and the expensive cost"
i think i said too much.
i originally wrote more. if you want the idea, just pm me... sorry

ASK YOUR MEMBERS .. if you do it in a crafty way you will deliver EXACTLY what they want .. how you ask .. at the end of every lesson etc you ask them to submit their questions and the TOP 5 best questions get XYZ bonus .. there is enough free shit out there from software, spreadsheets etc that they will be thrilled .. or better yet "anybody that submits a question by this date" gets a free software package .. on and on .... see what I am talking about?

Hello Jim

You seem to be one of the few DOERS on this.

Let me see if I can answer some of your questions....

1. There is no "right copy length". My Internship letter goes about ten pages. If people are really interested in what you have to offer they'll read it all. If not, then they're simply not qualified. Remember, focus on people who WANT what you have to OFFER.

2. You're putting out a lot of videos in a short period of time. You may want to go to one every other day or even every two days. That will take the pressure off of you, help you to manage your energy and resources and won't overwhelm the new member with too much information. If it looks too much like work then they won't follow through.

3. What else to offer members? How to install a theme for their blog, what plugins they can use, what domain name to choose and why, how to auto post to their blog, importance of photos and videos, opt-in pages, etc.... You've only scratched the surface, Jimmy boy.

4. Keep in mind that not only are you educating them but you're also trying to sell them a product or service. Hosting for example, install template for them, etc...

As to what else?

As JohnnyQuest says, "Ask your members..." they'll tell you what they want.

I've already forced myself to do this as I've paid for domain
and cards, nearly $123 for 1500 cards, both sides, glossy finish, 7 day priority delivery from Vistaprint.co.uk.

Not sure if I got bumped or not but oh well....

You got ripped off. For $131 you can get 10k cards from uprinting!

Big day today. Going into to uni and posting the business cards.
Posted via Mobile Device

Ok so I placed about 1000 cards around uni on each A4 ad with a pocket holding 10-15 cards each. Next time I will only do 10 cards an A4 cause they were starting to run out. I still have 500 cards left but I will use these for topping up every week while I'm at uni. Kinda felt weird pinning the ad because there were other students walking around. Had to play abit of James Bond secrecy and acting like I was just reading the other pin ups. I guess it felt weird because I have the thinking that my ad is to make money. Most offline people don't beleive in making money online so I get the feeling they might think this is some scam so why's he putting it up. Anyways just me rambling on here. I'll be posting in the evenings weekly where most students have gone home. Time to wait.

I posted in total 58 A4 ads with about 10-15 cards each. We have 3 main buildings but most of the cards were in 2 of the buildings. I need to spread them out evenly (but ran out of cards) I found there were lots of notice boards very close together. Some were 1-2 meters apart so up they went.

So time to create the videos.

I have no idea how this will pan out. Might be a winner, might be a flop. I just know for sure that people WILL see the cards because theres this one person that is doing proof reading services with tear off slips and I know s/he is making a killing.

Anyways here is the new ad, I'll be back to update.

Look good Jim

Just keep in mind that there are no failures -- each experience helps you get one step closer to your goal.

As for the 007 I can empathize with that. When I was younger I felt really self-conscious about posting flyers. But you'll get over that. If anyone asks just tell them that you're doing for some guy who's paying you a couple of bucks.

However, what you'll discover is that most people really are not paying any attention to what you're doing. They're too busy with their own lives and they simply don't care what you're doing.

Don't expect instant results. It takes time, patience and tenacity to keep up with this. You just have to get out there and do something -- which is what you've done. Don't give up in the first week or second week.

I'm currently training some students on how to be a local marketing consultant. The hardest part is the first 30 days. This is the time when they learn that the Internet doesn't produce instant traffic. They learn how to manage not only their expectations but those of the future clients.

Good luck...

@JimBean So how is your campaign going??

I've had 7 unique visitors, 2 have opted in for the offer letter, 0 members.
I have them on my free opt in list so they will receive my AR messages promoting the offer letter.

It's only a matter of time. The time of year is a factor aswell because students are preparing for exams so I guess they have real important matters
to attend to. The best results will be from September for the new term in theory. I think I might have come in abit late but we'll see how it goes.

I just wanna throw a little tip out there ( havent tried it but it makes sense)

ok, say you live in a poor suburb/city, lets name it poorsville ( you dont even have to live in a poor city, just visit one).
drop business cards in the houses + UNITS ( always the letterboxes at units are close together, you can do about 40 units in 10 seconds)

and target the name of your poor city/suburb on the business card so for instance
Poorsville, are you struggling with finances?
Want to learn the secrets on how to.. etc

Each poor city/suburb has 5 - 10,000 + homes/units/apartments (depending where you live) and if you drop 1000 business cards off at that, you should be doing good.

dont target unis or anything like that IMO, because they are the generation that know how to turn on a computer and download torrents, trust me (or they will steal your idea and move in on your territory)

Of course you could prove me wrong, but when I put this method into action when I move in a month, im going to be targetting the poor 'struggling' families and be making cash by slowly bleeding them some money whilst teaching them how to make pennies ;)

Yes that has run through my mind as well. In London we many council estates. In fact my aunty lives in a massive council estate and I have actually thought about dropping a card in each house. Spray pray marketing basically. I would think that would get at least 1% conversion?

yeah, i would stay away from schools/unis, as every person I know my age (early 20's ) knows how to download a torrent and knows how to google half the stuff your gong to be showing in the trial.

Its the 30-50s age bracket you want to be targeting, or the 'dumber' people that really believe in those

I've been checking the cards and people have been picking it up. But it seems that people are not checking the site straight away. Since I started this, I've had 9 subscribers out of 22 uniques views (according to statcounter)

I know my squeeze video is decent enough to opt in. I don't know what to say about my offer video and my offer letter...

Part of me wants to build a list using this method...

We'll see.

Would love to know where you're placing these cards. I've been thinking about where I would place them if I were to do this. I'm thinking anywhere low to middle class income people shop/work.
