$2000/mo Membership Site Using Offline Marketing

How is everyone else doing with this? I'm moving along nicely, just finished sales letter/template, business card design, and got a good domain.

Going to order all promotional materials tomoro, and start on creating first 2 weeks of content.

Love this thread! Definitely going to use this for an upcoming membership product. Newbies are easy to please. You could get a specific local domain for each city you go into to redirect (you-city-make-money-course.com, neighboring-city-make-money-course.com, etc.), people tend to be more trusting of things that are local.

This is a great way to get customers that are not only easier to please, but they are also less likely to be so inundated. If you give them good quality content they'll worship you and will be eager to buy higher ticket items from you in the future. There are certain people that would just never signup for your product online, they either don't use the internet to find the specific information you provide, or they think things online are scammy. Some people naturally give more credence to things they find offline.

Great info, it's really got me thinking a mile a minute.
 
PM me if you wanna JV on this. I'm planning on turning this into a vBulletin-based membership site. I own a local convenience store and will start advertising there + at other local business. I need someone who has previous sales experience and can make good landing pages, etc. I already have the site and will upload vBulletin to it and start on the forum tonight. Content is king, so you must keep the forum updated with new tools/methods, too.

Lets make this money!
 
Of all the forums in here this one has lead me the best outcome business wise. Which is ironical, considering this is an online forum

I wanted to thank everyone who attended the Membership Seminar. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we struggled through some of the technical difficulties. But that's just part of business. You have to be ready to adapt if you're serious about your business.

As you may know, if you attended the seminar, it was scheduled to last only an hour. However, it went for a full three hours. (Are my fingers tired!) 8)

Even then, no one wanted to leave. 8)

Probably one the most important things I learned was not to sell - teach and offer instead.

Also, the way to set up content pages and how to deliver it was a nice little gem you shared.

I probably never would have thought about not stating a dollar amount members can earn, not making promises like that unless you had told me.

I plan on applying most of your techniques to my site! :D

It was very much worth 3 hours although probably hardest on you and trendyl1 since you guys had to do the most typing. I'm not sure how your teleseminars are usually but even if it had just been you talking and the rest of us on text chat that might have been better for you.

Thanks so much for your wisdom, knowledge and inspiration. That was the most intense discussion/seminar I've ever attended. It was sooo worth it.

For me the most important thing I learned was that a membership site is not the destination, it's the journey. It's a way to generate leads for the services that you will want to provide to your customers. That's where the real money is at...

Also, I have wiped the word "sales letter" out of my vocabulary and have replaced it with offer letter. It's important to have this mindset, it affects how you go about business and will affect your clients in the short and long run. You're not trying to sell them something but to offer them something. That's a huge difference in what we've been taught.

For those of you who are interested in doing a membership site. Take Action!
 
Best 3 hours and $10 I have spent online - ever.

I have to say that a lot of what was covered, mirrored what I had been thinking about - which just confirmed that I am heading in the right direction.

But what stood out for me was the middle man technique plus the capital records method. For me these lead to the formation of an idea (while I was trying to get to sleep) which has made me see how universal the membership model you typed about ;) is.

Even answering specific questions concerning your membership site.

Just wondering if the sale of the transcripts are going to be pulled any time soon. Or are they going to be offered for some time to come?
 
Unfortunately I missed the session, but luckily I thought ahead and bought the transcript before the huge price jump LOL.

BTW thanks to trendy1 for asking my questions, since I wasnt there.

I'd say the biggest takeaway other than the lead generator model, would be that pinning down your exact target market is critical before doing anything else, as everything you do, from content creation to promotion depends on this.

Thanks again grafx we all know how valuable your time is and probably owe u like $7500. I really cant wait for my promo materials to come in so I can start distributing.

Another great point - Charge what you think you are worth!

I was going to sit in on this chat session but completely forgot. I was in the first chat session. I wanted to compare, maybe get some fresh ideas for my stuff. Its cool you are giving out the transcripts this time! I will be sure to check it out. The first chat session was great.

I believe this session was probably better than the last because we had more people who provided questions. It was very detailed oriented to the mechanics and creating the funnel.

fucking brilliant idea, this is one method im DEFINATELY going to do, with my own spin on it to ( little hint, keep sucking money out of your 'customers' as often as you can)

if they want a free trial, they have to pay to use it, think cpa, etc

sting them, sting them, sting them.

dont be like a bee and sting once and die, sting them 100x!

Yeah bro you got the wrong mentality and you will see ur attrition rate become high. Provide VALUE and the customers will become more and more profitable!

my review of the seminar
I arrived late at the seminar which was due to my part and different time zone. Guys everything that you will need to cover almost ever aspect of starting maintaining and efficiently conducting a membership site using offline marketing was discussed . The real hard and tough question such as how to get qualified traffic how to keep their attention and how to properly provide Accurate and Valuable information to your customer's has been address. Ladies and Gentlemen i would Recommend everyone and anybody who is serious about creating a membership site with offline marketing to get this transcript and study it because it will be the most useful information you will ever have. In the end There are Sayer's and Doer's Those who can talk the talk and those who can Actually walk the walk. Its really up to you guys. Either you are going to become the person in the article who is successful who everyone reads about . Or you are going to become the person who reads about the successful person in that article. I made the choice to be that person in the article. YOU DECIDE WHO YOU ARE GOING TO BE......

Unfortunately I found this thread a bit too late but I hope everyone involved gained valuable insight.

Here is a twist I'm thinking about doing.

If you do it at a local gas station and the owner has the comped account then after you make a grand or two all of a sudden they will "win" your give a way. So that's $100 in their pocket.

They'll continue to stock your cards and def. keep any future offline marketing in mind.
