It actually depends on a lot of factors like what product you're selling and where the traffic is coming from, is it targeted?

Also, what kind of colors are you using for the website? And colors do actually play a major role on the behavior of the visitor and might help you in getting better conversions. Check this out to know more details about how it works: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...s-persuasion/572792-art-color-persuasion.html

that's not bad at all! but I depends if the visitors are very targeted (lets say google ads) or random from google search, if you invest 50$ in ads and made 2 sales from around 10$ no your not doing it right, if these are from google searches, scale it up and go on! spilt test, colors, layouts and more you will be amazed how much difference it can make

Wow.. I was looking for a stick figure in that graphic. Thanks for the laugh. Anyway, it depends on the product really. If it's a clickbank product, you should be happy as hell.

Its a digital product from commision junction.

the colour thing is a good tip. I dont use buy-buttons only the text "Buy" in the default bleu link colour

The thing with PPS is that you needs to

make more impressions per each visitor.

Majority will not buy the first time around

    and the numbers show that.

It would be easier to have them subscribe to email list...

If you want more sales you need more traffic. Until you get more traffic it won't be easy to get an apples to apples conversion rate. Priority #1 is eyeballs, then once you got that you should spend the time adjusting site stuff. But without the traffic even a great site is wasted.

I would say that's not bad going. If you forward traffic to an affiliate link, you might expect 10% to follow the link and 10% of those to make the purchase. So that's 1% of your traffic - which is about what you are seeing..

Nobody to mention split-testing ? Old school approach but extremely useful to find out what landing page is converting best.
Make few landing pages around same product, each of landing pages to be different (colors, fonts, buttons, call-to-action text, image position, headlines, etc) and drive/pay traffic to randomly chosen landing pages. At least 10k views would be nice.
You would be surprised how actually just one of LP's is getting 70 % of sales and conversions, and others perform few percents or 0%.

1% is a good conversion rate, although it varies so much from niche to niche!

How long did it take you to get 200 visitors per day? I changed my domain last month because it was too similar to a competitor's. I"m averaging about 50 visitors per day and building backlinks using gsa ser and manual submissions.

Between 1 and 2.5% conversion is pretty good, just look to see if there are any imrpovemnts that you could make, like a better pitch etc. But at a cost per sale those figures aren't too bad, just look into increasing your traffic.

Make sure your keywords are targeted you maybe getting a lot of unrelated searches. Also your conversion rate isnt all that bad, get a google analytics account to see what attributes are creating the best conversions and which ones aren't making much of a difference at all
