$200 To Spend On SEO... where to start...

Got a hot key word with little resistance registered. Starting to set it up...

I have $200 to spend on SEO.. wheres a good place to start for a noob?

Make a plan. Are you going to do the work yourself, or outsource?

Both require a plan, but the execution will be different for both.

Doing your own SEO work will mean that you need to buy programs. For that I reccomend starting with scrapebox and mastering that before moving on to your next purchase.

If you are going to outsource. Decide what your SEO plan is and look for the best prices on the links you need. I recomend fiverr as a place to start outsourcing. Fiverr isn't famous for the quality of their gigs, but the investments are far less risky then some other sites because everything is $5.

Maybe this goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway :) - before you spend anything on SEO, make sure you've got a decent amount of good quality content on the site. It's always tempting to register a domain, put some placeholder content there, and start building up the traffic first thing. But this will never build a sustainable site. You really need something there to attract visitors' attention, and give Google something to chew on when it first starts picking up links to your site.

Assuming you've got the content in place, I agree that fiverr is a good place to find some initial contacts, and get a feel for the market. I wouldn't bother spending anything on AdWords, with only $200 budget. Much better to buy some programs like ScrapeBox and start investing time (instead of dollars) in building links & content for your site. Time is valuable, and it's amazing the sort of results you can get from doing some good old fashioned manual marketing.
 
i would get scrapebox, its a pretty useful tool. just be sure that you know what you are doing, there are tons of great guides here. you can get it from the downloads here for $57 instead of the usual $97 i think. other than that, invest the rest in having someone write quality content, do not waste your money on garbage crap it is useless now

Do not go crazy spending. Plan out your seo and remember that you need diversity in both your link sources and anchor text. Since this is a new site, I would start slow and do not blast your money site (ever and especially now) with xrumer, scrapebox, etc.

There are excellent services that others provide here on Black Hat World. You'll want a link-building service so that you have good, clean, solid links pointing directly to your main web page, not thousands of Xrumer or Scrapebox blasts. Those are spammy, overused, and will get your website slapped hard.

You can find excellent services here that will not sandbox your website, and they'll boost your search engine rankings for less than $100. Look around here until you see what you feel is a good bargain. Just about every service here has reviews on it, so you can see what others experienced with that service, and whether or not it's right for you.
 
Being perfectly honest, just go on fiverr and buy some well rated shit there. Honestly fiverr is the best place for most seo, and you can combine gigs and get some really powerful stuff done. For example you can find a guy wholl write and spin and submit and article for you, then take that article and give it to another guy wholl make some web 2.0s and post the article to it and spam it with scrapebox, etc. With even $50-100, you can get a ton done on fiverr, I'd really really recommend looking into it. With the 50$ youd spend on scrapebox you can pretty much do an entire seo campaign.

Trick is finding the good gigs, and having a good plan. Good luck.

Some misinformation here but your hearts in the right place..

Op buy some high quality fiver gigs and with the rest of the cash invest on content, if you do this your 200 should go a long way.
 
That would be easy if you would understand how SEO works first. Before making any purchases read what are the different methods to boost your site in the SERPS. you will find a number methods out there. focus on 1 method and try to implement it. do all the seo manually at first. this way you will have a better understanding how a SEO software works if the time comes you are about to purchase it.

Scrapebox. :)
 
WRITE YOUR SHIT DOWN...this helps a lot so that you know what is going on and always have a thought proccess going. This works for any amount of sites and is literally requried for people who have hundreds of sites.

I bought a high rated 50-edu package on Fiverr to see what would happen a couple weeks ago, my #9 site is now nowhere to be found in the top 200 on Google...no more edu backlinks for me I think. Or maybe just 1 or 2 next time :) fun test though, the site was barely receiving visitors anyway.
