Like the tittle says, i just made 200$ dollars doing some seo work for a small client. i was wondering what is the best way to invest this!

i already have hosting paid for 3 years in advanced and have a couple domains registered, but im not currently making money off these sites, but im working hard everyday to change that.

so my long term goal is to work for an seo agency and start my own seo company (already setting up the site for it)

and my question to all is should i use that money to get certified in g00gle adwords and analytics?

or

should i buy some software that can help me generate seo clients or software that can help me sell links, reports and stuff?

Advertise on BHW
Put it towards marketing your seo company locally.
Buy content for the site, and secure your ranks locally.
 
Don't get any of those google adwords/analytics bullshit, they don't say too much. Let the reviews/testimonials speak.
Invest in getting more clients and in simplifying your job.

See what fits you better but I'd start with doing it myself then outsource when orders start rolling in.

I would create a very focused local seo ppc campaign, this will help keep bid prices low and maybe get you another client or two, you can progressively work your way up financially speaking. I feel investing in yourself is the best thing you can do.

$20 Order a site on Fiverr (several pages, social media and all the stuff installed, contact page, services pages etc..)
$30 Do a profesional logo and several graphics on Elance (design for SEO packages, buttons, call to action buttons...). You can get a gerat designer if you use this template when posting a job ("If you're new to Elance but have years of expirience with design this is a golden oportunity for you to get your forst 5 STARS rating...") After this intro sentence just add your job description. I always get somebody from Ukraine to propose and they are usually good designers. SO, for $30 you can get loads of files
$100 Hire a writer on Elance with 5 STARS ratings to write a content for you. Send them examples of what you need, what you like etc. You can also get content for $20 but don't do this. Design is one thing and writinmg is something else.
$100 buy a software. You can't work without a tools.

That's $250 , only $50 bucks more.

which tools do you recommend for a 100 or under a 100 that can help generate revenue?
 
First off congrats. If you think people find it useful by buying your services, create a website, try to get a membership in BHW or other IM forums and start selling your services to the targeted community.
 
The tools I am talking about are SEO tools. When a guy (or a company) approach me I offer them free SEO audit, spying on competition and all that s**t. When they see charts and numbers they look at you as if you're SEO God. You can get a SEO audit software to show off with your reports for around $100. Search for SEO Powersuite, you can download their complete package free of charge and use it as long as you want (with limitation) and if you think this is a good fit for you can buy the complete package or just some parts. I think that SEO Audit tool,if purchased separately, costs $100. There are some other tools out there but I am using this one. I am not saying this one is the best, I am just saying I am using it. Anyway, download it for free, and try it. If you think it's not a good fit search more.

thank you very much, working on my seo site as we speak, posting a few articles and working on local seo and im thinking of starting a ppc campaign.

so i guess noone recommends, getting certified by the Big G

I would suggest you to buy a tool for an audit. You know a website audit cost is more than 100 bucks (depending on the size of the website). Once you've the tool you can do several audits in a week and make more than you've now in just a week.

I can suggest the same powersuit pack but screaming frog spy glass is also cool. You just need stats and rest of the report can be written in half an hour.

I just think its a good way to double or triple what you already have.

Do share with me what you bought eventually!
