dont know if anyone will find this useful but here is what i did to get posted on all 20 sites in about 4 clicks lol ..

First go to this site in Firefox

The paste in this list and open all 20 URL's in their own tabs

Next thing is put this in your iMacros and save it.

notice you must put <SP> whererver there is a space in your contents

go to the last tab and run the script 20 times on loop (or however many tabs you have opened)

This seemed to work on 19 of the sites, one of them didnt work becasue the submit button was named something else. This wont work on any site with this calender, but its good for these 20 sites. Thanks OP for the list (btw, what does OP mean?) lol

Can anybody think of an SEO reason as to why it'd be bad to build a ton of backlinks doing this?

i created a imacros that loads all the websites from a csv file and then runs through it and submits it. It only works with sites that have a calendar.pl on it at the end.

Instructions:

1. find your own list of calendar websites
2. copy paste the url in the calendar.csv, ONE url per LINE
3. open the imacros .imm, change the < a href= info by changing the link and keyword.
4. run the imacros and all will be done automatically

Yeah, there's always somebody hellbound on breaking the usefulness of new discoveries for as many people as fast as possible.

Honestly cialis/viagra dude, what are the chances of somebody actually deciding they need to buy the stuff you're promoting just because you decide to force them to watch it while they are browing an online calendar?

Whatever happened to common sense?

What are the chances of these calendar pages getting so much real traffic from real people that it's a viable tactic to force feed cialis/viagra on them?

By the time you've had enough displays of your page to have a statistical chance of seing just one sale the calendar page would have been shut down by the website owners because of complaints from the people actually using it.

Think for a moment before blasting both barrels.

What does these calendar pages do for me as a marketer?

Real targeted traffic? - nope
Massive amount of untargeted traffic that can be spammed? - nope
Backlinks? - yep

Ok, so backlinks it is (just as the name of the title of the post)

So, next question, how do I utilize this enough, while still staying under the radar so it doesn't get shut down?

Do I spam December 2009 with every web property I own? - nope
Do I add a few links to some of the 2008 pages? - Yep, chances are you'll never be seen by regular calendar users - and reported.

So, should I just continue to add links to the 20 links provided by the OP? - nope
Do I make my own Google query and pick a few pages from the 10000+ calendar.pl pages reported - yep

There you have it, several backlinks, under the radar and without ruining it for all your fellow BHW members.

Now, how hard is it really to add some of the same thinking to whatever new resource shared here?

You have to realize that BHW is open to the public, and indexed in Google.

This is a bookmarking script.. lol

We all suffer from the viagra spammers stupidity. They blast with so many links that Google will:

a) Mark down their links as zero value.
b) Flag the page as a spam link farm, tarnishing all other links on the page.

They are hurting everyone: the webmasters they spam, reasonable backlink builders like us, and perhaps most annoyingly, themselves.

I've dropped a few thousand links on sites like this and kent web type asian forums, guesbooks, really awful links (or so you'd think) and had traffic coming in within 24 hours for non-pharmacy terms. Lots of it. Then again I was also using parasite hosts.

The real reason people don't get benefit from these things is that the viagra spammers are doing it in BULK, but they're cross linking and they are artificially building authority. You'll also notice that if you steal their link sources and build a database they are spamming so fast that you almost need to hit every source at least once every few minutes to get a link to stick, but if that's your strategy it's worth it.

This seems like quite a collection, but how do you target to your niche through them, because sometimes you can't tell from the domain what it is... Do you just mention a keyword somewhere around the search criteria of calendar.pl?
