An update on my progress for anyone else following this method. Started to put my own ads together and had earned $1.36 on Crakrevenue, then checked this morning, and bingo, someone had signed and I was $50 better off.
So far, I've spent $8 driving traffic.
Now going to try a few more ads and see if this was a fluke, or whether there is some life in it.

Over 1,300 views and only 1 click. Is this normal? In any case, nice method man. If nothing else it shows newbies how to interact with the back-end of advertising.

Hey guys! Sorry for double posting but i've sorted all my troubles out now and i'm going to give this a go! Will keep the thread updated with my progress, investing $20 to start, hopefully i'll see something come out of it!

Set this all up yesterday. Downloaded the .gif ads from CR. 468x60 and 160x600. Setup the account at exoticads, loaded the acct with 20 bucks to start. Uploaded my ads and put in the link from CR just like op said. Both ads were denied due to "advert belongs to another advertiser" any advice here did I miss something? Thanks

envyusmedia.com is a great alt to crackrev for using this technique i've made most of my money through them when running the same amount of ads for each site.

Trying something with Juicyads and a 300x250 gif to CR. Not doing so great. Lots of impressions some clicks but no $$ (gonna change ad) trying the exoticads route now. Lots of impressions Cpl clicks made a Cpl cents so far. Gonna test this some more. Good method here I think with the right testing.

So a 20.00 deposit made .23 cents in CR had a .09 ctr any suggestions? Could it be the ad or the lander? I looked at top ads and they are not a great deal better ctr than mine. I know more clicks help. Should I make a prelander or send to a diff url that forwards to CR(like a bit.ly type) so the clicker doesn't know?
