Serious I would use it as down payment on a condo in central Bangkok that I would then rent to one of thousands who work for the US government and/or the CIA in Bangkok... that would pay for the mortgage and the change I would invest in IM - foreigners can only buy condos in Thailand in owner name - for houses and more has to be in Thai name...
Then 5 years downstream would sell in what is one of the best real estate investment regions around - the upside is that in Thailand the profit if you do it right - would be tax free!

People who ask for investment ideas tend to be bullshitters or are not true entrepreneurs.
True entrepreneurs have their finger on the pulse and always know where to put their money.
They have a wide circle of people and contacts to take advice from.
They don't tend to ask a bunch of randoms on an Internet forum.
