My partner and I have been working on an affiliate site for a year that targets small business owners. The niche is extremely profitable and dominating with brands but there is not quality content. We are doing well enough that one of our friends has offered us $20,000 for a percent of the revenue. We want to use the money to make quality content to dominate the niche. Maybe not Neil Patel level but as close as we can get with our budget. We want to start with 100 quality (2000+ words) pages targeting the most lucrative keywords. We are good at SEO but are pretty poor at writing. The plan right now is to write the outlines and supply the research then hire writers from odesk and elance to write the articles. We also are going to make 100 shorts videos. The niche doesn't have any decent videos and we already have the equipment so it won't come out of the budget Down the road we want to make some awesome interactive data visualizations like http://www.truckerclassifieds .com/truckpocalypse. As well as some long (10,000+ word) articles. What would you do with $20,000 for content for an affiliate site targeting small business owners competing with national brands?
