    Hello.

    I have 1 domain that has a nice domain authority. In the past, google Adsense asked me to change the URL or the site because it was "offensive". So I registered a new one and made a 301 redirect of the old url. It worked pretty well. No rank drop.

    old domain 301 redirect -> new domain

    So, now I have to take down the website and I am creating a new one with another domain.

    If I 301 redirect the old domain and the new domain to this 3rd domain, is a good idea?

    new domain -> 3rd domain
    old domain 301 redirect -> 3rd domain

    Yeah, You can do 2 X 301 redirect to your site.
    But I would like to know the reason if the new domain working pretty well means why do you want to take down and go for the 3rd domain.

    The rule of thumb in SEO is: If it's ranked and makes money, don't touch it. This is what I would advise you to do as well.

    First of all, thank you for answer.

    The website had huge amount of direct traffic because people could find a solution. Right now people are not looking for that solution anymore and the traffic is decreasing to the point I am not earning that much. So, I am starting another new website and I though that with a 301 redirect from those domains would be beneficial for my new project.

    Yes. But I think I forgot to mention that the 3rd domain is to do a completely new project and the old website keywords are not important anymore. :)

    If it's not making any money, then by all means, give it a shot. :)

    Oh Well. Then, That's not a bad reason to think about 301 redirects. Go for it. All the best
