2 site completely de-indexed after Panda/Penguin updates

Hi,

2 of my big authority sites were deindexed after the latest updates. Before that they were doing fine and climbing. What are the recommendations for getting a website indexed again? One is an Amazon site and the other a review site with cloaked aff links. Design change perhaps?

Looking forward to some suggestions!

are you sure they are de-indexed, as opposed to just ranking way back?

Do the sites come up when doing a site: googlesearch?

e.g

site:youwebsitehere.com
 
They are de-indexed. They do not show up with a site: search.
 
if they are deindexed, they can be brought back by a reconsideration request. But first, find out what is really wrong. See to it that the sites add some kind of value.
 
Join the club. I went from makinf a few dollars to making a few sense. But none of that reaffixc is coming from search engines.

My website is indexed in Google but rank is not showing anywhere. Whats the process to get back ranking.
 
I think your sites must be doing something very wrong that resulted in its de indexation. Try to find out what is wrong and make the changes and then you can file for a reconsideration request.
 
For deindexation it has to be something really bad. I would do this: First go over webmaster tools reports, try to find something wrong. If everything looks ok change the sites so they look like they add value, remove some affiliate links (or all of them for a short time), then submit a reconsideration request stating that your sites were deindexed (make up some problem and say you fixed it, bad robots.txt or something noob like that). Wait for their answer to see if they drop some info what they think is wrong. Then come back here and let us know if you could work it out.
