2 questions on internal links

there are two questions in my mind

- does the link juice of a page distribute between internal and external links? Meaning when I have just internal links on a page and add external links then, will the internal links spend less juice? I know that this is the case for external links but I heard that internal / external links are treated differently in this regard. Maybe somebody knows
- I have some some internal pages which I want to link to from my home page. But I do not want to give them link juice because they will not rank anyway. Would it make sense that I use the nofollow attribute for these internal links? The purpose is obviously that the other internal links (to pages which I want to rank!) would receive more link juice.

The link juice will flow through every link on the page (including outbound) but it's up in the air as to actually HOW much flows through. So if your homepage is PR2 and you link to an internal page with PR1 you are increasing that pages PR and "juice" which will then in return give that juice to any other pages you link to. Internal linking is also beneficial to the user and you want to use it as a road and guide the user to where you want them to go.

Yes, it is normally best practice to no follow the internal links to a page on the site that you do not plan to rank (for example a disclaimer page or a login page) but if you are no following internal links to that page then you should also probably no index those pages. I personally don't worry about putting a no follow on 95% of my internal links. It would be very rare for me to link to a page that I would not want to rank at all unless again it's something like a login page. Even then, it might be helpful to the user to have that ranked if a user searches "example.com login" in which I do a similar search a for a couple sites I visit.
