Hey guys!

I am testing Quillbot again after few (3-4) years of being away from it, and I can't seem to find the best use for it anymore in churning out quality content...

So I have a few questions for those who use Quillbot extensively, so please answer them if it's no problem:

1) how do you manage to quickly and automatically create content that's both readable and passes Quillbot's AI detection?

The few tests I've run (on a 100% manually written piece of content each time) - with Quillbot's various settings - always turn this human-written content into AI slop that Quillbot's AI detector sees as AI (what a shock, huh)?

So this is my 1st question... what are the settings you are using to quickly create content that's readable but also passes the AI detection?

2) did you notice any difference between the different modes (Simple, Fluency, Standard, Academic, etc)?

I swear to God, I've passed several articles through EACH ONE of these modes and I couldn't see a difference if you poured wax on me. Maybe I'm blind or idiot, or maybe I didn't thoroughly read / analyze the outputted content, but I honestly can't see a difference... or maybe the content that I've tested these on is not the right type of content (but then which type is the right type??) for these functions, I don't know...

So yeah, that would be my 2nd question... what's the deal with the different modes, and how to get the most out of them?

If any of you uses Quillbot regularly please let me know the answers to these 2 questions as I'd love to get back to using it (I really did like it in the past), but I can't figure out some of the things that it does...

Thanks in advance!

I’ve never used QuillBot AI before, but its Paraphrasing Tool was very helpful for me in the past.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the premium version this year, and I haven’t been able to find any way to get it. The different modes and options in the Paraphrasing Tool were extremely useful, and each one had its own value.

There is a bar button hownmuch you want to change the content. Make it 3/4 green. :)

Readable + Human-like:
Use Fluency mode + Moderate Synonyms, then manually tweak phrasing. Quillbot alone can’t beat AI detectors — it’s best for polishing, not writing.

Modes:

Standard: Balanced

Fluency: Grammar-focused (best overall)

Formal/Academic: Complex tone

Simple: Easier wording

i know you hate AI bro, but using quillbot is the same as using AI, as quillbot uses AI anyway (now).

For your use cases, AI is your best friend. You can create some very strict prompts like only letting AI replace certain phrases, words, preserving your human natural content, without changing it into AI slop.

There are too many ways to achieve what you want. You can even use AI to output some json, with strict replacement and replace it. It works better and can preserve your original human content nature.

You dont have to like AI, but AI is just another tool.

AI is your best friend
AI is never my best friend, please stop using this manipulation crap because I'm losing my calm pretty quickly. That shit is not even AI, and not even intelligent, and I never make friends with integrated circuits, despite of my introverted nature I still prefer to make friends with humans....

I can't create any prompts, I'm not using the AI and period!

As much as I appreciate you trying to help (and I can clearly see that you are trying to help, and I appreciate it) I will not reply to the rest of your comment as it's redundant since I'm not going to use the AI :)

And yes, Quillbot is mostly AI now, I noticed. I'll use it once in a while (mainly to check whether my content is AI or human, but other than this I don't think I'll use it for anything else)

easy easy. :)
i repect your chocie and no intention to being offensive or to get you triggered.
I just thought you didn't know the nature of quillbot.
if you do need paragphsing, you can try the old shcool translation methods. It worked for me back in the day. but quillbot never works for me. i like the quality of tranlstion far better than quillbot when i tested it.

given how paranoid I am I think even the translations are done by AI nowadays :D

But yeah, that's an option...
