2-3 blogs of 500-700 words are sufficient to accomplish your objectives.

However, the longer blog you have, good for your website.

    Thanks.

2000 word articles are fine, just don't pad them out with fluff & filler for the sake of boosting wordcount.

Effort = 100%, otherwise, why bother?

Many blogger use to post 1 post per week to keep their blogs updated and to make their blog with fresh materiel such as magazine which will look forward to your really great content and if you are posting 1 - 2 content per week in which produce each article really make your work shine.

word count is really not a matter, content should be informative.

2-3 posts of 700 words per week are enough. You need to put effort as much as you can. Always make sure your content is unique and informative.

Better to use 1000+ words in one article and one or two articles per week will help to update your site in Google. And the content must be quality as much as it can. Articles must be crystal clear and must reach to the readers. Then it will help to push your site ranking to the top in Google SERP.

Two posts are good for a blog in the week. but you can also post 1 also because the thing is the quality of the content which will encourage users to read it. Words don't matter.

You should maintain keywords density between 1 to 3%. The formula to calculate keyword density of the page is listed below:

Keyword Density (%) = (Number of times keyword used in the web page/Total number of words in that web page) * 100

2 post with 700+ words is good for a week. You can stuff only 1.5% keyword in your article and you can take 5 hrs for good content that can be useful for the readers.

2 or 3 posts of 500 to 700 words are fine but do not sacrifice quality for the promotion of a keyword that does not relate to the article.

Focus less on the word count. Focus more on the value (quality and relevance) that your blogs give to your readers.

Always choose the organic approach. Don't rush.

It depends on your budget I guess. I would say that you need to put in as much effort as possible - do your keyword research, find a group of keywords / LSIs / longtails closely related to that topic and encorporate them all. Try to make the peice as authoritive and comprehensive an article as possible on that topic, make it well researched, include references etc. Add some decent quality images, add some quotes. Then push it out on social media, tag the people you quoted and so on.
Work out how much time and resources you need to do all of that as HQ as possible then do as many or as few as you can on the budget.

It's the quality not so much the quantity of how much you post. The main thing is to write high quality content and try to stick with some type of publishing schedule. I'd say at least publishing something twice a week is a good frequency to aim for and most people can easily handle this work load.

So, I guess you got your answer. It's between 1 - 500 word article per week and 15 - 1,500 word articles. Moral of the story: start doing, feel it out, test what works and adjust. I have a few websites that I rarely update (we're talking months) and they do just fine in the SERPs. Something more timely like sports, news, etc probably needs way more frequent updates (which is why I never go for those types of sites). It's probably best to look at what your competition is doing, and copy that first. Then, once you have your footing, test out increasing or decreasing frequency and see what your analytics tell you.
