2 noob questions

1. When someone says ?make a web 2.0 post.? Does this mean that go to wordpress.com, create a blog mysite.wordpress.com and then make a post there with my money site?s link in that post. Am I right?

2. While link building, how do you target a keyword? For example, if the keyword is ?SEO methods? and I am making blog comments for the purpose of link building, how do I target that keyword? Is anchor text the keyword?

Answer to question 1: Yes, this can also include blogger/hubpages/squidoo, and many others. There are some good lists here of all web 2.0

Ok. So 1 account at blogger.com, one post with link, and goodbye account? Google won't care that there is only 1 post in that account with a link? So making web 2.0 posts basically mean:

Create blogger.com account. Make one post with link. Forget.
Create hubpages account. Make one post with link. Forget.
Create squidoo account. Make one post with link. Forget.
And so on.

Correct?

Well you should always think about things from a natural point of view. So you think a one post web 2.0 has more value than my poop? No way. It has to have regular updates really.

I find that you get better traffic from high PR forum comment posts. They are much easier and quicker to do than web 2.0

No , It helps in rank of course, It is a backlink to your site anyway, and you should make 15/20% of your anchor texts like this, I mean [ click here, go now, check here] ,,,,,,,,, and 80% using your main keyword.

about [Create blogger.com account. Make one post with link. Forget.] yes u are right, but if u made a lot of posts you then create a High Quality backlink, so it's better.
Create 1 youtube video to link to ur moneysite, not like create a youtube channel with 5 videos and each video link to ur money site. the 2nd method is better than the 1st method.

Okay so lets take an example of blogger post.

1 blogger account. Make one post related to my money site niche with my sites link. What about other posts from that account? Should those posts be just random posts without my link? Or can all posts from that account contain my link? Or should I keep it random like total 10 posts, 5-6 with link and 4-5 without link.

There are a few things I would suggest to increase the value of the backlink. Write a 500+ word article relevant to your niche, adding the link to your money site one time. Update the blog regularly with niche relevant content, but do not add multiple backlinks to your money site. You can include another backlink to an authority site in your niche (preferably not a competitor). It is best to keep OBL from the site to a minimum as big G will devalue it.

Got it. 500+ word articles. One backlink to my site only per web 2.0 account. Relevant articles. Can add backlinks to different sites in the niche (meaning they get free backlinks from me?).

Yes, so be sure you aren't linking to one of your competitors in the top ten. I only put 2 obl on each web2.0 (one to my site, then one to a relevant authority site). Just always be mindful when building your tier 1 properties. Think to yourself "How can I make this look as natural as possible w/o wasting too much time." The suggestion above to make high PR forum comments is much less time consuming, but I would use a mixture of both backlink methods for the best results.

1st Question: yes

2nd Question: yes, but you will want to vary the anchor text.....

Throw in some random "click here" and "this website" type phrases, some other related terms, some bare url's, just keep it looking natural. That's the best way IMO.

What things do I have to keep in mind while posting on forums? By high PR forum comments, you mean posts? Like we post here at BHW. Or is comments something else? Should I also try to find relevant niche forums? Or can any high PR forum work? And what about the content of the post? Should it be relevant to my niche? Or can I just reply to some thread with a link to my post at the end? E.g, "Blah blah blah blah blah blah. Regards, XXXX (my website link)."

The ratios are way off and you are feeding this to a person who doesn't know SEO.

If you swapped them around then yes.

But SilverKnight you should focus on:
Getting 25% - 30% of your anchor text as your main keyword
20% LSI keywords
The rest stop keywords like click here, go to the site, etc,

Well, dont use the same anchor text in all the web 2.0s. You can mix it up with LSI keywords and then if you run out of them, go with "go here, click here, etc". It doesn't hurt to use them, but i'd much rather use variations of my keywords or LSI keywords.
