2 months old website appearing and disappearing from SERPs

Hey guys,
I have a (almost) 2 months old site with good and unique content on it, i keep adding content every week and everything looks fine. I also started doing some basic back linking during the second month (blog commenting on relevant blogs and other very basic stuff).
I'm also getting many impressions and some traffic from long tail keywords.

I'm tracking my main keywords and some of them appear and disappear from SERPs.
Here is a pic, the same thing happens for a few other keywords (many others have steady rankings)

My question is:
is this a normal thing for a new site? one day you rank (70th) and after some days you completely disappear, and rank again later and so on

I know it takes time to rank, just wanted to know if I'm not the only one experiencing this-

I'm asking because I'm a little worried... but maybe it's just normal!
For instance, my main keyword ranked in 80th for a week than disappeared and appeared 60th again after a few days. Now it disappeared again.
 
Yes this is normal, you are dancing salsa with the serps, don't forget to wear your dancing shoes.
 
Yes it is completely normal especially if you have done some off-site SEO lately. How much Off-site SEO have you done?
 
I build 20 or so blog comments on related blogs during the 2nd month... not much, just to build a base of links.
Should I wait for the rankings to stabilize or continue building links during the 3rd month?

Try getting QUALITY social signals first. For new sites it would be better than links. Focus on FB likes and share, Twitter tweets and retweets, G+es and followers.
 
The famous Google Dance, give it few weeks. :)=
 
Try to diversify you links dont build too much back-links via comments, it would seem spam. It would stabilize in some time dont worry.
 
It's just dancing, no problem at all, give it a view weeks to stabilize. Ad some social shit and keep building backlinks daily, not to much links at one day, or sandbox will show up :-)

Keep building more links from authority sites and diversify your anchor texts. Go for high authority social bookmarks and social media links/likes etc.

that is a good sign that G is checking your site...

Continue building backlinks and dont stop...

Build 10 good links/day in 2 months and see the effect...

How serious is the website? Because if you are planing for a long term profit, don't build crappy blog commenting links. Go for the real deal, find some serious websites out there, that has google trust and try to negotiate with them about backlink exchange. o

If your site isn't very good offer them free posts, (Quality posts). You probably can think of something besides paying them if you are on a tight budget.
 
Yes, that's what I'm doing now, during the 3rd month (guest posting and other things)
I made 20 or so blog comments just to build a base of links. I chose only high quality and very relevant blogs.

Yes, I have faced problem. According me, you should do quality SEO like best links, unique articles and blog posting. Do't stop work.
 
I also have a question.. This google dance.. does it only happens when you get a new link????/
