Is this normal? I have a site just made last nov. domain name is free from co.cc its a wordpress blog. I have targeted a keyword with a 15k search per month according to seo elite. I only promote it through social bookmarking and made a link wheel around it. So to those who knows better in seo.. is this normal to get a pr4 in its 2nd month?

This is perfectly normal and a good PageRank dude . If you read few other threads, you will find that people have attained PR2 within a week or so.

Yep, you can definitely get a PR of 4 within 2 months.

Take a look at a backlink checker and you might find that you have a lot more links than social bookmarks and link wheels

As the OPs are saying it's definitely possible. There was a fellow BHer on here today who got it done in 3 weeks. Posted a link to the site too and it checked out.

The PR update this new years eve certainly has taken alot of people by surprise myself included. The best part for me is that after creating many WPMU blogs using LFE within just the last 3 weeks one of these blogs with a few AC articles has been blessed with a PR3 and I hope the others come April/May time will also be given a decent PR. A couple of my other sites also rose from nothing to PR1-2 and they are no more than 2-4 months old.
