Any safe and reliable 2 factor authentication extension on safari or chrome?

For Chrome or Safari, Authy and 2FAS are solid and user-friendly options. If you prefer an extension, Authenticator Extension by Matt Rubin (for Chrome) works well.

If you want a standalone app, Authy’s desktop client is rock-solid: it encrypts your tokens in the cloud, lets you pin separate vaults for different profiles, and pops up in your menu bar so you never miss a code. For a more lightweight, local-only solution on Windows, WinAuth is a good choice—portable, open-source, and stores everything in an encrypted file you control.
