Hello BHW,

Its my first time ordering a domain,

I want to create a simple website, but I have no idea how to do or where to start.

If anyone could point me out the easiest ways to setup a simple CPA website, I would greatly appreciate!

Well you need 2 things, domain, and hosting.

Then you just install WP, stick in your content, and decide on your CPA offer.

Its as easy as that, 5 mins :)

Could you point at me cheap sites for domain?

You need to post more info or your ideas. There are 10 different ways to do most things depending on what your knowledge level is. Also depending on the CPA network you might not even have to have a site.

Use godaddy for domains but NOT for hosting.

Hostgator shared is perfect for trying out stuff as long as you don't get to much traffic. I think they got an offer for a free domain if you get hosting from them as well so that should be a good start for you. :)

Cheapest place is godaddy, and people will regularly post coupons here, just use the search. As for a host, stay away from godaddy and use something else. Hostgator, hostwinds, have a search around here, and get some info on different hosts. Both those i mentioned give you monthly payment options, and u can cancel when you want. Make sure you find one that has CPANEL

There are a few technical things you need to do to point one to the other, and you need to understand how to setup a database to support your site.

Just search around a bit for the info, take your time, its tricky to start with, so don't expect this idea to work, use it as your first practice to learn what you need.

Head towards domain section, there's currently 1.99 coupon on godaddy.

If you're planning to attract visitors from search engines and are on a budget for SEO, PM me and I can show you some gigs that will get you the most bang for your buck. I'd like to add another vote for Wordpress. There are thousands of guides on Youtube that can help you with every step or issue. Good luck.

Hey buddy I'm like in your situation before so I have to help you. :-)

Where to buy domain name?

The best place to buy a domain name is at namecheap. use the coupon "buythedomain" (of course no quotes) You can use unverified paypal to pay for your domain or even a bitcoin.

Where to buy hosting for CPA?

Since a CPA site would not need heavy traffic but few and very targeted leads, a free hosting is OK! I use either 000webhost or freehostia. There are no banners and whatsoever but you will be limited with a single database. But that is good though!

How to build a website?

Some would recommend that you will be using WP. I won't do that with a free hosting. Why? WP is heavy to run on freehosting services. Just use a plain html page for your landing page, TOS, about us, privacy policy pages. You can start with php template if you like. But I usually create my own pages. Use w3schools or spend a week or two trying to create a decent website using html and css.

What else do I need?

You should need to have some php scripts to blank the referer (yeah it's ok to blank your referers and the advertisers won't mind it if your campaigns will convert well in their part... i said "IN THEIR PART"). You will also need a sort of a php link rotator to test which offer is shit and which is gold. It will take two to three days to determine offers that are pure shit. You might also use a geotargeting script. Get another landing page for people signing up outside of the us and redirect your US visitors to your offer pages.

YAY! I don't usually post long replies but I guess I just had to help you. I don't know but today I feel like wanting to help you as I feel your worries. Heads up bro.. that feeling you have right now is just a the beginning! You will be frustrated more, learn more, and earn more!

Cheers!!!
