1k followers a month good?

Hey all,

I'm pretty new to IG IM. I've been Twitter marketing for a year now but Twitter seems...blah so I am moving to IG.

I've been able to amass 2k followers on both of my accounts. They are in the cute pet niche. I post somewhat regularly and I use MP to follow the followers of relevant accounts.

Each pic comes with about 100 likes but about half aren't even following me as they are just browsing the hashtag.

Is 1k a month any good? On Twitter I can get 200 followbacks a day but Twitter is big on reciprocity. Any tips on how to get more followers? Thanks.

Thats not enough. You should get 1000 Followers in already 3-5 days of following. (In the unfollow-proccess the growth is not that big)

well i am usually able to get around 600 to 1000 follow backs a week! What you need to do is find big accounts in your niche and just follow thier followers, seeing as you both are in the same niche and the people are already following that other account they are sure to follow you too, this is how i get so many each week but 1k is okay too

How many would you recommend I follow/unfollow daily? I follow 100/unfollow 100 daily, but maybe I just need to be more aggressive?

how old is your account?

Start increasing. Go with 100 a day more. Till you reach 700-900, stay there. Dont follow and unfollow on the same day

Two months each. I have another one that is a couple of years old that gets 2k followers a month or so. I unfollow those that don't follow back the next day,but maybe I need to extend it to a couple of days or more.

Follow until you reach 7,5k. After it unfollow all. Simple as that

1k is 1 month is rather low, especially for cute pet niche..
That should be atleast about 3-4k month growth.
Start increasing follow / unfollow settings.

1k is steady, age them a bit more then do more aggresive settings!
try aim for 1k a week, that's 4k a month OP!
