Hi, I've purchased a nice tower server. Specs are
8GB DDR4.
Quad Core Xeon E3-1240v6 @ 3.7GHz
3TB HDD
Not going to colocate it since I need a residential IP for my own use.
I plan on upgrading my comcast internet up to 1Gbit, since I've heard good things especially in my area. (Usually get anywhere between 800mbps-1gbps).
Question is, how much do residential dedicated servers / VPS go for? I'm assuming more, since residential IPs seem to be very useful for proxies/sneaker websites etc.
I probably won't be hosting the whole server out as I have a use for it, but possibly may rent out a few VPS's.
Comcast IPs also rotate weekly, so it has that benefit as well.
Give me an example of how much you think a simple 1 core 1GB ram 100GB HDD server would go for.
Server would be located in the United States. (East Coast).
