Hi, I've purchased a nice tower server. Specs are

8GB DDR4.
Quad Core Xeon E3-1240v6 @ 3.7GHz
3TB HDD

Not going to colocate it since I need a residential IP for my own use.

I plan on upgrading my comcast internet up to 1Gbit, since I've heard good things especially in my area. (Usually get anywhere between 800mbps-1gbps).

Question is, how much do residential dedicated servers / VPS go for? I'm assuming more, since residential IPs seem to be very useful for proxies/sneaker websites etc.
I probably won't be hosting the whole server out as I have a use for it, but possibly may rent out a few VPS's.

Comcast IPs also rotate weekly, so it has that benefit as well.

Give me an example of how much you think a simple 1 core 1GB ram 100GB HDD server would go for.

Server would be located in the United States. (East Coast).

How much did you pay for the server if you dont mind me asking? I'm shopping around for one at the moment myself. If you have any recommendations, feel free to lay them out.

Grabbed it off eBay for under $300 including HDD. It's used, but in very good condition. Just a few scratches on the case.
