1GB ram vps tweaks?

I have vps with 1gb ram,hosting websites with not much traffic

now questions
1) should I use centos 6 or 7?
2) like virtualmin any other free option? kloxo is resource hungry
3) any memeory etc tweaks for wordpress blog?

use Centos 7 64bit with VestaCP (if not cPanel) setup vestacp with Nginx + php-fpm do not use useless WP plugins and do not use nulled / cracked WP themes or plugins

does virtualmin take less or more resource than vesta cp

we actually never recommend it much to our clients, we are using VestCP and its great for WP sites.

Yes +1 for Vesta this is the best free solution very easy to use
