1and1 shared - mysql backup

I use 1and1 shared hosting.. and have SSH access.

anyone here have a solution for backing up all your mysql databases once a day or week using SSH or anything else?

I'd really like to automate the process of backing up all the databases.. so I don't have to worry about it. I know as soon as I get lazy and don't update.. is when everything will go wrong.

You can try the following in cron -

0 0 * * 0 mysqldump -u database_user -p Database-Password database_name > database_name-`date "+%Y-%m-%d"`.sql

Run it in SSH first and if everything goes smooth, run it as cron.
