1and1.com WTF?

I was with 1and1 for a website for more than five years and I regret staying with them for so long. I never bothered, but one day I checked my monthly bill and realized how expensive they are. I originally registered with them when they were offering their hosting free for 1 year.

They're not new - been around years
They're German, and well known in Europe - probably not so well known elsewhere

They are new, and i am buying them because of one hidden feature that their hosting have, not because of hosting or domains
They are NOT new - just that you've not heard of them before
I wanted to say aren't, looks like i made a mistake.
I know for them for years, in the past they were good, i remember few years back when i was running hosting company, we were buying dedicated servers from them and they were really good, but seems like they have new boss or old boss lowered the salary

Never ever ever use 1and1. They are worse than GoDaddy (which I had previously thought was impossible).

Only if you don't mind paying their renewal fees like, forever. They make it a hell to transfer out.

Just use namecheap. Never had a single problem. They always have discounts too.
