There are people banking more than what the OP has stated in this thread, I am pretty much sure well known marketers have stated higher incomes in shorter periods of time, eg. a friends of Shoemoney's who earned more than 200k over night and yes using social media traffic probably free traffic.
I highly doubt facebook or any other large social network delivers so many clicks on daily basis through their ad spots to a single client. But there is a but, there are many people running campaigns over serveral networks, paid traffic who actually manage to receive millions of hits over a period of 2 days etc but saddly most of these cases are nothing to be happy about and why? Simple large amounts of traffic over short periods of time usually take me to the idea of trial campaigns and we all know trial means loss.
In conclusion probably your friend has put a lot of cash into that campaign in order to bank the amount stated either he has spammed the hell out facebook alone which isnt vert smart from my point of view anything above 10k per day can be dangerous at some point, don't even want to even think about 180k, knowing as a fact that facebook only banks in 5 times that amount in the same period of time.
