He got 18 million views in 4 days, and also a lot of unwanted attention (stalkers).

Well he made this for others to see what they should do and how unrespectable kids are nowadays , well if this would be comercial this would be be one big and Good comercial , but it isnt so i dont see him as genius marketer

I don't claim to be great at marketing but some of these comments just prove to me that some people actually have no clue what-so-ever. I don't think they should even be on a forum like this to be honest.

If you guys go to his facebook page you can see he's raised 40,000 for charity, and also was pushing a craiglist type website. He said the traffic crashed the servers in 60 seconds

It's not a new concept, remember those old viral videos back in the day I think they were done by BlendTec, they use to blend ipods, iphones, etc when they were first coming out. Blender would rip it into dust.... kind of funny

Then there were those videos of people going into BestBuy, picking up like 6 PS3 (when they first came out), and just trashing them in front of the line to get in.


The lesson learned is:

If you trash someones "want", it makes them "need" to watch it.
