16 Year Old Millionaire

perhaps his mom just want to help him. not on IM but the rest of his life.

i think, even if his dad gave him $100,000 to help him with his business, it would still be a big achievement for a kid that age...seriously (and honestly), guys...when y'all were 16, did you ever think about making your own business?!

Well his dad is rich so he thinks different than the average 16 year old.
He was probably raised to run a company.
That + $100,000 is not a big achievement in my opinion...

Rich parents ftl, I didn't get a computer till i was 18 and I'm 21 now :(

For all the money that kind has in the world... He isn't a millionaire in my eyes... Frankly he isn't worth the grit on my shoes... This isn't envy... It's disregard to someone who doesn't know the value of a mother... I don't CARE if she wanted in or out... A mother should NEVER be subjected to that kind of treatment... EVER... PERIOD...

......and I thought this website was full of caring, supportive, aspiring people. :confused:Almost everybody here's judging and slandering this kid(16 at the time) for hiring his mother, and because of some random thread that was posted in DP a.k.a. Moron Central. Calling a fucking KID a douche-bag for employing his mother is just wrong. Maybe she wanted to work, or she just didn't mind helping her son succeed? Or so what, she's employed by him? He wins, she wins. They're a family. What "wrong treatment" is there? And even if there was, it was still HER choice to work for the kid regardless.....The jealous, hateful comments in this thread honestly disgust me; all because he chose to get off his ass and make something happen for himself at a young age, and the H.A.T.E.R.S. in here didn't....people here need to grow the fuck up......

I, on the other hand, am proud of the kid, and look forward to seeing him succeed in the future.....

Oh, and one more thing.

He made it! Making 1mil from 100,000$ at age 16 is quite good if you compare him to the greedy bitches in my super sweet 16.

Theres a difference between success and trolling the local news.

I call bullshit
1 - The kid made one million dollars in SALES in two years. Sales is not income.
2 - The site did so well he now has it forward to getdealy.c0m
3 - His "branchr" site as well as getdealy have pathetic alexa rankings
4 - If he's a brit, why does all his whois info have an L.A. address

I say the kid made a few bucks and somehow got a promo on this tv station.
Not hatin' just sayin.

Oh, and his new site, branchr? I get a server not found.

Same. I'd never make my mom work for me if I was making that kind of money..Then again, maybe his mom treated him like shit, and this is pay back lol (him being her boss). Still, kind of messed up though.

Kudos to the kid though. That must be a great feeling to make your first mill by 16.

Have you thought that maybe his mother is good at what she works for him and that being his mother he trusts her? I mean if I'd have to choose between an accountant or lawyer and my mother (given she is very good in that area) then I'd choose my mother over some stranger.
