I'm curious to know if I'm misreading something. When I selected the campaign I'd like to advertise, the EPC shows $0.20. When I look at my reports, it shows $0.00 EPC. How come out of 16 clicks and 0 actions, I didn't earn even 1 cent?

Can someone please tell me what I'm misunderstanding?

Some cpa companys show the EPC for everyone on their network under their offer. That maybe the networks EPC.
 
Is there a way I can bring up my EPC? Or is that just random for the publishers?

This really sucks. Come to find out I've had about 6-7 clicks from my blog alone and I thought it was doing bad because of the visitors!!!

Damn, this is happening to me with all of my ads. They're being clicked but no earnings. To say I only have about 60 UVs a day now, I'm getting pretty good clicks. How can I increase my earnings though? There's something I'm not getting...

I think it's just about finidng the right ad for the right demographic.
 
First of all it's average EPC, it means almost nothing. When you got 0 conversions you obviously got 0 EPC. Try to rotate offers, it's not a good idea to promote only one. Some things are not predictable and need to be tested.

0 actions means 0 actions. Obviously if your EPC is $0 then your earnings per click are $0. What's so difficult to understand?

You know I'm getting tired of ignorant statements like this. If you're judging an offer or even an entire campaign on 16 clicks you've got a lot to learn. Send 1000 targeted visitors then make the call.

You guys send a few untargeted clicks to an email submit then cry shaving when you don't get any conversions. It's laughable.

What's so difficult to understand is that it shows $0.20 EPC but now it shows $0.00 on the report. Being new to SEO this isn't anything obvious. Also, it shows 16 clicks and 0 actions, not 0 and 0.

I'm not blaming any journals for not mentioning this information, and this is the reason why I started this thread.

EPC is the cost per click when you get a sale.
Say you have an CPA with a sale of $1.00 per lead.
And you get a lead every ten clicks. Your EPC would be 10 cents.

The EPC on their site is telling you the average cost per click when a sale is made. You have 16 clicks and no sales. If your lead earned you $2, you dived $2 into 16 whcih would give you 12.5cents per click. So your conversion rate would be 1 sale per 16 click, which equates to 12.5cents per click. CPA networks don't pay per click, they pay per lead/sale. The EPC is to give you an idea of what other people are averaging per click when they make a sale.

Np, little confusing, wasn't sure if I could explain it good.
 
It really is being pretty new but I've just put my peerfly banner rotator back on there. The only thing that sucks is the irrelevant banners but according to the site, it rotate the banners to generate the most clicks. As far as MaxBounty, not exactly sure what I'll do as far as the rotating now. I might just leave it there and keep track of how things go.
 
It was explained in this post before but it works like this.

The EPC that the network shows is the average clicks/leads from all affiliates.

YOUR EPC is 0 becouse you had clicks but no leads, so if you have 20 clicks and 10 leads for a 1 dollar offer, YOUR epc would be 0,50, becouse for each 2 clicks you had, you converted one. Even if the EPC shown is 0,10 0,01 etc.
 
I had 6990 clicks last month and only 63 converts and 43 of those were from one 368 click campaign?
If this is what you are saying about "shaving", I must be the most hairless CPA Affiliate on earth?
Have no idea what is going wrong and AM is clueless as well. They just keep saying it is my traffic source? Well a simple e-mail submit from an ad that states clearly what the offer is about I find hard to believe this 0.009% return is justifiable.
