So for the past 2-3 days we already noticed that view counters were stuck, not updating, or delayed. So we already knew a big YouTube update was coming.
Today, it looks like they released the new video player for some people.
Screenshot:

If you don't have it yet, you can get it as follows:

To change to the new design, go to a random YouTube video and navigate to this in your webbrowser:

To change back to the old design, go to a random YouTube video and navigate to this in your webbrowser:
javascript:document.cookie='VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=lLZRH5LuuEU';


Thoughts? What do you guys think of the new design?

That cookie changing method is bullshit. There is much easier and faster way to use the new player.

YT updates itself all the time. Not all people notice it at once because YT is a distributed system and spread over dozens of data centers. It takes time to update software on all YT servers.

For me, the new player appears when i use mozilla and the old one when i use chrome :s

It looks nice and clean. I like it! The lincher method worked for me for getting the new interface.
