15 articles declined by AC for Upfront payment.

I had submitted 15 articles through 7 days for upfront payment but all of them have been declined!!!!

The reason is same for all:

I am not agreeing to this. All were excellent articles. No grammar or spelling error!!

Sorry to hear it man, It sounds like your account is flagged. Check out fl1guy2's thread about AC being strict. We talked about all the reasons Ac flags accounts.

Maybe leave that account to collect page views and start another one.

I read it. Its just that they need articles with "latest keywords". Is it?

Sounds like you met a editor who was having PMS. I don't believe in this flagged account theory, if they don't like your account, they can straight up suspend it. They got enough articles to worry about without keeping people around just to reject their articles. My 2 cents.

the same thing happens to me often when i submit articles these days, and i have impeccable splelling. (joke). Even after I went through the article, there were no typos and they said there were. So i just resubmitted it and rewrote a few things in it, deleted the original, and put it back up. They seem to be incredibly nitpicky these days -- i am a former journalist and also copy editor; I should know when an article is done well or not. Especially since I write them all and haven't outsourced them. I do think a couple editors must be vindictive out there and take out their frustrations on others. They probably do get a lot of crap submissions and it must be annoying to sift through all that.

Here is a small sample:

Ever since the starting of his singing career along with his brothers in the group "Jackson 5", MJ has continued to entertain and attract everyone with his moonwalk and singing. MJ was often referred to as "The King of Pop", a title that he truly deserved. To be frank, it would be very difficult to choose the top 10 Michael Jackson's song as he had plenty of them. This is the most asked for article now a days!!

karan, there are many grammatical errors in that paragraph. First, commas go within the quote ("Jackson 5,") ; then put Michael Jackson not MJ; "top 10 Michael Jackson songs" would be correct, not as it is written (the one you have early in the post has typos); ...the year 1982, (put that comma in place); biggest-selling needs hyphen; "until date" doesn't make sense. Put "to date."

All these were outsourced at $1 per article. So, I did not check the,..My BAD!!!

I suggest you take the time to 'train' your writers, it will pay off and $100 days will be easier to achieve

Clearly, those lines were written using the "UK-English" and not "US-English" -- and yes, there are typos as mentioned by Werrich. I think, even "Here are the top 10 Michael Jackson songs." should end with a colon sign...

Looking at the brighter side, I think that this is the beginning of a new era... AC is definitely asking for better articles and, being a writer, it definitely is a warning to me to be more careful. Nonetheless, I guess this is a good sign! AC shouldn't go the DP way -- down. Not so long ago, DP too had better standards but look where it stands now!

DP has some rotten-mentality mods and higher-ups... Many writers had warned them about the falling standards, but they stuck to their stand of allowing the prices to be slashed to miserable levels. They made fools of themselves and the better writers, and then the site became a junkyard... to put it very lightly.

So now, ask your writers to follow the US-English standards and then take some pains to recheck everything. I guess, AC has the right to ask for better content and we need to provide that if we need to survive. As BHW members, we shall be able to find new ways to stay ahead. So friends, please understand that the times are changing, and definitely give them better articles from now on. A good driver will always drive more carefully when the signal is flashing!

P.S.:
Is it possible that having too many writers in your team with different writing styles, those AC editors are now flagging/flogging your account?

Well said srb, If you're using multiple rewriters you'll be better off by splitting their work over separate accounts. Three of my rewriters actually have very similiar writing styles, but if there's a noticable difference in their work I would suggest using separate account for each writer.



@Black - they do flag mate believe me. It usually revolves around bad sources that were cited or from declined articles in general. Once an account is flagged, it's best to let that account lay low for awhile.

Thanks RedTide AC, like any other good company, is definitely trying to lift up their standard. I know this first-hand because they pointed to a very minor - almost hidden - mistake in one of my articles and requested me to get it changed and resubmit it.

Their suggestion was made in a very polite manner and it also showed how professional they were. I like such attitude. Of course, it made my own article better. I like such editors... they lift up your standards too. Any small-time editor would have certainly missed that almost-invisible flaw. I really thanked them because their scrutiny will now keep my own levels above normal from now on. Without any doubt, they do want the best now.

As you rightly said, if the team has writers with different styles, then they should be grouped and allocated separate accounts. We are definitely learning new strategies from these threads!

EzineArticles take the cake here! Actually, I never had problems with EA though but have heard from some friends that they are never satisfied. I think, if any of these two flag you, then you can expect trouble for a very long time. But if you provide decent quality, then they will never hurt you... they know that they are benefiting too from the association.

20 articles on 2 accounts got the same message. Looks like we got the same editor that run. Try resubmitting in a few days

I already did this about 4 days ago, I'll tell you what happens.

YA!! thats the exact thing! non unique enough my ass! lol Red, willing to share one article you are sure to be accepted by AC and ill post it with my new account to test whether they are being fair or ruthless to newcomers!

Sure we'll work something out, like I said in that other thread let me start by seeing a few that got declined and we'll try to pinpoint it. I'll be on IM about 11am pst mate.
