Hello Guys

This is my first thread out here. Awesome forum been loving it from day one.
I have a question for you guys. I have a 14 year old Domain, used as a forum 6,7 years ago.
Right now It has DA 14, SS 1%, DR 3.5, PA 28.

Registered a new domain 2 years ago, moved the site to the new domain after so many years of sleep. New domain is at: DA 10, DR 16, SS 11%. Both .com's, new one sounds more premium.
I have not been using the old domain some for many years now, i was wondering what should i do with it? Let it expire? Create a new blog on it? Move my new site to the old domain?
I have already redirected it to the new one but it was after many years of being inactive. Some help in the right direction will be highly appreciated.

First domain looks good, you can start a new project on it. If you do not have an idea for it in mind, you can sell it.

How much a domain like this can go for? Sports/Bodybuilding niche. Or should i move my new site to the old domain?

Try to use it or sell it (not here unless you are upgraded member), you don't want to expire a 14 year old .com domain.
If you wanna sell it godaddy auction free listing is cheapest option after facebook groups.

This was my whole concern if i should just let it expire or not. I just renewed it an hour ago and it was to expire in less then 12 hours.

If i use it let's say build a blog on it, how soon will it start seeing some traffic?

1) find a few blog sites similar to one you wanna build, sort them by the first seen date.
You can do all this from this excel sheet I have shared here:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/m...u-tracking-link-method.1322006/#post-14957314
2) plug that site(s) in on ahrefs or semrush and check when did they stated getting traffic - date the site(s) posted their 1st post using archive/waybackmachine.
This will give you the time , how long it will take for you to see some traffic.

You can do a few things.

I have a question. Is the new domain being used as a forum? If so, switching back to the old domain might cause the forum to lose some users.

You can just redirect the new domain to the old one, but constant changing of domains isn’t good for brand recognition.

However, you could turn it into a fitness blog. Those are really easy to market on Twitter/Instagram.

New domain is a forum, blog and some other resources. I definitely don't want to hurt the traffic i am seeing on the new one. Already switched from www to non-www and it's hurting my site.
Fitness blog isn't a bad idea either
