I recently was contacted last night by intelsemarketing http://www.intelsemarketing.com who was telling me i could earn money per tweet, So i filled in the forms on there website using twitter API I didn't notice it was not actually twitter API and my email address was quickly changed and my account was deleted. Luckily they visited my website before so i have there IP & direct location.

I lost a twitter account with 130k followers & 500+ verified followers , I have sent my ID into twitter and all the relative documents as they have requested, My business trademark is currently pending, before i apply for twitter verification, so i have good chance of getting the account back and twitter restoring my backup, But again i am very worried i could loose it, Does anyone have any advice? tips?

Now playing the waiting game....

Will keep you all updated...

5 hours later & my account has been fully restored, No doubt twitter will contact the web host.

Wow, I'm glad that you got your account back! That must have been pretty scary. Kind of makes me think how people like that give people who are actually trying to build a business or brand a bad name.

Well that's nice that they're able to restore it. Always check the URLs when authenticating/logging into any sites.

read the title wrong and assumed $130k....can't be too careful these days...
