130 visits a day, no sales

Can you recommend a good CPA network equivalent in size to ClickBank?

Thanks,

There are a few things that you might want to check here.

I was recently working on a campaign (still am actually) and the client had a landing page that had an insane bounce rate. After further investigation (I ended up installing Clicktale on the lander to get more insight) I found that people were actually clicking on his Call To Action, but because the page was so direct, and the Call To Action button created a popup on the page, it looked like the visits were bounces, when some of them were actually clicking through to the next page. Maybe you should check that out. If that is, indeed, the issue, then you may need to look into cross-domain tracking or just ensure that your google code is passing to the second page/step in your sales funnel.

Also, as other members have recommended, I would install or add in a mobile detection feature that can display the CSS that's going to show the page from a mobile standpoint, rather than the full desktop version. That amount of organic visitors on a daily basis is indeed enough to measure the quality of your landing page.

One more thing; Don't forget to try multi-variate testing your page.

I am getting all traffic from search engines and I am pretty sure the analytics is correct.

If anyone else wants to take a look at the site message me and I will send you the link, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

7/10 visitors leave and only see one site.
7/10 visitors are on mobile, can't see everything on site.

Both are HUGE problems. Avoid mobile traffic, get computer traffic. Lower your bounce rate.. Also what is your time on site #'s? Me personally, I block all mobile users in my Adwords, etc and only target people on computers.. Regardless of "studies". Add more content, add more links/images and get people to click around and become comfortable with the site, then push the conversions onto them.

mobile traffic is very difficult to monetize, just ask facebook. With that said, I'm sure there are plenty of people making a killing with mobile... they have to be scammers of some sort.

I'd agree that your main problem are your visitors bouncing and coming from mobile. What kind of traffic do you receive (organic, PPC...?). That becomes a major one when your site is not fully mobile optimized. Also an important question, are you receiving traffic of interest i.e. do you target your buyers, and I suppose the answer is no since they don't convert. Anyhow, there are a lot of factors to this, and you need to tweak and test a lot to get it right. By changing just one thing, that looks like a minor detail to you, you might boost your conversions for 300%. You can send me your link and I'll take a look if you wish.

That's difficult to tell, but if you're using PPC, anything above 30-40 I'd say you need to revise your PPC strategy. Time on site is also important, combination of the two can tell you a lot.

Not surprising you aren't having more success with those stats, but you are definitely on the right track!

Mobile traffic? So sell your e-book on all app stores.

A bounce rate of 60-70% is bad. That means 6/10 people that come, leave almost instantly.

Yup that's no good especially at such low traffic. You'd have to have a verryyy popular offer to get many converts off of that with that bounce rate and only 130 visits

130 isnt enough, so imagine if 70% of them was mobile visitors

Hi john5170, nice question/ comment.

High bounce rates are not good and you need to fix the issues sooner rather than later.

The reason they are not good is because over time a poorly performing site, with high bounce rate gets lower rankings across the entire site and therefore you could slowly lose all that nice traffic you have. Even if this does not happen, you are losing lots of business!

Here is a nice guide on seomoz on how to identify and fix poor performing pages on your site, including your home page.

Additionally, when you are selling any product, ebooks, software, etc, you need to make sure that your pages are helping your product to sell.

This is a nice outline of sites that are doing landing pages and home pages right, specifically trying to get users to convert.

Hope this is helpful!

Shawn

You need more visits before being able to work out what to do, do you have analytics installed? set up goals and check out in-page analytics to see where they are clicking.

Try submit your site to more APP related forums or websites for targeted clicks
