i have been using 123reg.co.uk for about 8 years - today i went to register a .co.uk and found that payment appears to be done only through paypal...

i havent a problem paying with paypal - i do have a problem agreeing to 123reg's T&C's quote:

123reg.co.uk said:

"That by clicking the button to 'Agree and Pay' via PayPal, you authorise the payment of any future amounts due to 123-reg.co.uk from your PayPal account."

godaddy does this too im pretty sure, its not like they can take out $50 for no reason, it's mainly for auto renewals

Keyword - Due. If you owe them nothing then they won't take anything, simple as that.

if your comfortable with that go for it, i know i wont be using their services again unless they change that...

i have seen errors happen before and they can happen - my bank did a double withdrawl one time and took an extra $1000 out of my account, and that was simple as that too... but it was a bitch to get it back!

i just wanted to give you guys a heads up thats all... just looking out for my fellow blackhatters!

That is purely for the 'Auto Renewal'....... If you dont want to auto renew domains, then disable the auto renew for the domains.

Years ago it was all manual renewal, but people asked for auto renew, now it is pretty much standard across the board with every registrar

Lol whats the biggie, just login to paypal and cancel the bond between 123 and paypal then they can't and just pay when u get ur next domain....

Apart from that being a complete pain in the ass am lazy when it comes to crap like that, the less BS stuff i can do in a day the more time i can spend on making $$$! Besides i always like to stick by my guns and follow my rules...

lol not 100% sure what you mean but we have great living room furniture - you just wont find any of my loose change down the sides!!! hahahaa
