hello everyone.. ive tried many things online to make money but cant seem to stick to anything because i simply lose interest.. but.. instagram is something ive stuck with for nearly 3 months now and at 12.5k followers in the tattoo/babe niche.

i know i'm a small fish in a big pond and i know im not ready for monetization just yet but i was wondering if i could make even £1 a day or something?

Or if anyone thinks im in the wrong niche?
    any advise would be appreciated!
if anyone else has experience in this niche i'd love to talk.

    thanks in advance, Jordan

I think you should probably try to continue to grow, then charge for shouts.

12.5k in your niche is nothing. Forget about monetization. Learn determination and dedication first because that's what this stuff takes.

3 months and you call that "sticking with it"? Thanks for the laugh today, I needed that.

Bad niche you have chosen I would say. Still you can try few dating offers on Babe niche.

I don't know what to monetize on tattoo account, I myself have one but still haven't figured out how to monetize it.

    thanks for your reply..
yeah i thought dating offers but people are actually interested in the tattoos too.. when i put up some test pictures of girls with no tattoos i dont get as many likes and a few hate comments lmao

and if, as you say its a bad niche.. why would you make an account in it?

    thanks again.

yeah that is my original plan.. i'm going to join this shoutout website once i reach the required 25k but accounts on there with say 500k followers charge next to nothing which means id have to charge.. well nothing haha

    thanks for your reply :)

Ok touche. The problem with your process is the manual part, especially with social media work. I would advise you to boost your following with bots. There's plenty out there and Im not big on IG, but last time I checked the "go-to" was Follow Liker.

If you have a little coin, you can go the route I go for my Social, and thats VA's from the Philippines. Don't ask me why (the Philippines) just trust me. You can find a solid VA to manage 1 social media account for about $150 a month. And they'll work their ass off.

Also as other have stated, change your niche. The Tattoo niche is done for. You'll never beat out companies like Suicide Girls, and the 10,000 tatted chicks that have their own personal profile. A niche in women that always was easy to build profiles with was big booty women. Gotta love the booty. If their is booty in the pic, its viral capable. Don't know about now though. I'd imagine (it's been about 3 years) that its more competitive now.

Even then, how will you monetize it? Thats the challenge.

Try to grow it up to at least 30-50k then start selling shoutouts i highly doubt anyone would buy shoutouts from a small account.

What is the tattoo niche? I don't think you can monetize a niche like that. It's a completely-offline industry, so there's not really anything to make money with. About the babe niche, I don't know... Instagram is filled with babe pages but if they are profitable? Probably not. Maybe you should consider changing to a more lucrative niche? Niches like luxury, fashion and travel are usually high in demand when it comes to shoutouts. If you decide to select another niche, you will be able to start selling shoutouts much earlier. Of course, the choice is up to you. Good luck ;)

Maybe it could help out tattoo artists if you contact them for advertising/branding packages. Not in niche but i'd imagine with the popularity of tattoo artists (and its competitiveness) someone would be willing to trade a few dollars to get their name out even further
