    Let's say I have a 100% whitehat blog bringing 10-15k UVS/ month.

The traffic is mostly young people (19-30, generic traffic it's not a niche). I dont have ads yet, cause i didn't wanted to scare my early visitors.

I know targeting them to some good CPA products is the way, but hypothetycally which option would you think bring the most money:?

ebay-cpc, amazon-cpa or adsense-cpc? Considering using the same ad space.

It's hard to tell since we don't really know what your niche or target audience is. Your best bet would be to try it all. I would think that in general adsense would work out pretty well.

It totally depends on your website.. what kind of a website is it? a product review site? if that's the case then amazon affiliate program would be good. if it's just a general gossip/celeb blog... maybe adsense.

You can always try the free email submits for laptops and iphones for generic traffic, since everyone wants a free laptop.

its a site about culture/popculture, review of books, movies but also opinions on various topics, funny pictures, memes, quotations, song lyrics, youtube movies, my photography so really its everything.

    similar to:

    kottke***org

^sorry i thought it will code itself.

I would like to try everything, but really i think it may be a wild guess or luck if i just check it for 1 month based on my 10k visitors which is not THAT much.(i don't want to harass people with many ads.)

thanks for your responses. if anyone wants to add their $0.02 I'll be glad to read.

if someone has anyhting to add please do so. I just want to say i don't want direct ads spaces, cause I don't want permanent adds with low quality products liek IQ tests or shitty ebooks so i don't piss off my readers. Thinking along this line adsense wouldn't be the best choice.

It would be the best choice based on what you've said. Use Adsense, then systematically block the unwanted ads until you get a good mix of ones you feel are targeted.

At least it won't always be one aff product or other ad you have to swap out manually when your visitors become blind to it. A mix of adsense ads will give you more of a chance to interest people when they keep coming back.

and you do think that adsense cpc brings better money than amazon cpa on the same number of visitors?

Well, actually not really. I make more money from amazon, but your site isn't really targeted for specific amazon products so I thought you might have better luck with ads. My sites are all about amazon, but I still make adsense money as well. Just not as much, based on what I'm targeting with the site.

Test both and start earning. I don't think your visitors will be annoyed unless the ads are in their face all the time.

Love what you said, and the best way to improve on this is ...

first run adwords, for about 2 or 3 weeks until the ad system learns what makes money for it's clients, then start paying attention what's being advertised. find correlating affiliate programs that would benifit from your users and design pages leading to those products-affiliate programs, this way you can maximize the revenue from it

look at it as a funnel, guild the visitor down the funnel to a vendor, then let them click to the vendor and the vendor can finish the sale.

    on another similar note:

I use the sales funnel trick to guild visitors to pages that present the adsense advertiser ad's. think of the sales funnel as a qualifier of the visitor, the more they go down the funnel, the better they are to purchase something, and if you do it right, those qualified visitors buy what you sold them, and your click value will be increase a lot.

I bought a site recently, 200 UV and 1000 page loads daily ( all organic ), did some basic SEO to it, added about 20,000 words to it ( 50ish pages ) made it all funneling. now I have the same 200 UV and about 1100 page loads but my ctr went up to 9%ish ( from 3%ish ) my revenue went from .17 per click average to about .60ish.
