10k Posts WOOHOO!

Congratulations @tazarbm
Hope to see you around adding another 10k.
That'd be sweet, but I don't see myself reaching 20k... But who knows, the future is uncertain...

more like 100k. your posts are like others’ 10 posts.
100k??? HELL NO! If I get to 20k I will consider myself lucky bastard, and probably stop there. Do you guys even realize what making 100k posts means when I spend several hours a day on the forum reading posts and making (quite lengthy too sometimes) comments and I barely broke the 10k barrier after 3-4 years of joining?

By the time I reach 100k many of us will be dead or on their dying bed, their grandchildren having children on their own lol...

dude likes to get into details patiently even it’s a question that was already answered a bazillion times
true, I think I need to slow down a little and just refer the people to the existing guides. This is actually one of my resolutions for this year since I foresee not being able to spend as much time on the forum in the coming months. But we will see...

Congrats man. Have your guides and insights coming!
thanks :)

Congratulations and thanks for your contribution. Your quality filled replies are always standalone in the threads.

thanks, man! If you can't provide value don't post I always say.... but sometimes I break my own rule

I can't believe how's it even possible, congratulations tho.
I wish I knew the secret, but the only 2 things that I've done is 1) not care about the numbers (I actually wouldn't even have noticed that I'd break 10k if another forum member had not brought this to my attention) and 2) keep helping as much as you can without worry about any thresholds.

This "blueprint" had worked well for me, so it is possible and now I know that all of those guys that have 50k posts have not gotten any favorable treatment as I thought at some point :p

And thanks!

Stop posting.

I'm scared you'll over take my reaction score and that scares me more than talking to a woman.

Have mercy.

thanks!

To be honest, you would have beaten me to this long ago as you're older member than I am, but some people are busy making money, while others are busy replying to threads. But the great thing is that in the end we're both winners, so I see no problem with how many posts people have...
You're welcome, it's not a competition, you have your own goals/path, I have mine. Don't beat yourself too much, make the best with what you have, and be aware of the limitations, which we all have it one or another way.

Best therapy feedback I got since I was "slow and lazy" (just a severe type of ADHD) in school: Dude, given the conditions, you did the best you could, even if from.outside perspective it looked like you could more, this is not true, that was your limitations and that's ok

And, Folks, of those 10,000 posts, 9,999 offer value to the community.

Congratulations, and thank you, @tazarbm.
Which is the only post that doesn't offer value? I'm gonna eat it so you guys don't see it anymore

And thanks for the appreciation :)

yep :)

that's good advice actually. Many times (even today) I look around me and see so many lazy bums that only complain and blame others and I think to myself "what a loser!" And then I remember how some of my relatives used to tell me that I have so much potential for [whatever random thing that they saw in me] but instead of making it happen I am being a negative Nancy about it. So, I remember this and then think to myself (about myself) "what a loser" :D

So yeah, fair point, most people do have their limitations "given the conditions" that they're in...
