Hey guys,

I wanted to share the stats of the website I am currently working on and provide monthly updates to help motivate people who are looking to start their own website.

The website is built on an expired domain and has seen some pretty good growth over recent months.

I started working on the website at the start of July (so around 5 months).

Sessions have climbed from 5,058 to 35,405 at the start of this month and continue to grow. Thankfully, the site was not impacted by the recent Google update that rolled out in November.

Since first starting on the website, I have added around 200,000 words.

My main method of hiring writers is through UpWork. It can take some time, but if you look hard enough you can find a decent amount of writers who will write for a good price.

I am currently trying to reach 50,000 sessions as fast as possible so I can jump on the MediaVine bandwagon and start earning some ad revenue.

The website contains mostly informational-based articles, but there are also a number of product reviews and best X for Y articles that bring in some affiliate commissions.

Currently, I have not applied to any other affiliate networks, but I do plan on moving away from Amazon within the next few months.

Thanks so much bro!

I pay between $25-$30 USD per 1000 words.

Anything lower and I feel like the quality decreases pretty substantially lol.

How much do you expect to earn from mediavine when you reach 50k sessions?

~$3k USD

Do you have mostly tier 1 traffic?

Yeah, it's around 75% split between US, UK, Canada, and Australia

How much do you expect to earn from mediavine when you reach 50k sessions?

Last month was my first full month with Mediavine and I made $2k USD with 86,000 sessions

I post some of my articles to relevant subreddits and use IFTTT to automate social posts for new articles on Facebook/Twitter

I'm not doing any link building at the moment as I think it is more beneficial to push out content.

I started publishing content at the start of July last year, so it is all under a year old.
