What kind of business would you start with this amount of money?

I have experience in SEO and I am thinking about my next project. I am considering ecommerce, dropshipping, blogging, or affiliate marketing. what else?

Nowadays ads are very costly, and everyone is in competition. So find, think, & try those types of businesses that you acquire clients for once & sell monthly; that means you have to burn once & take fruits every month, like recurring services & e-commerce with Android & iOS apps—you have to run app install ads one time & take sales every time with just push notifications.

Start your world conquest locally.
Start your business idea from that perspective.
Can you create a business that works locally?
Will your idea work for local consumers or other local businesses?
This way, you can manage and control your operations.
Then, if everything works, you move to the entire territory of your country to sell your service.
At the same time, you can see if there is a possibility of foreign conquest (a different country).

I asked some months ago the same question at ChatGPT, and it answered pretty good way!
ChatGPT told me to invest in local tourism, and I am going to do so...
ChatGPT told me to invest in local rental services, and I am going to do so...

I don´t have 10,000€ to invest, but my investment is 1000€. But let's see how that goes.

I hope you get some ideas from my writing, because now you have to do some brainwork to get that idea sorted.

Build small lead gen sites in boring niches like cleaning or roofing. Rank them and sell the leads. Local biz pay fast if calls come in.

With a budget of $10,000, in addition to what you've already mentioned, here are some of the most practical methods you can consider: SEO to generate leads for local services: dentistry, spa, industrial cleaning, beauty, wedding services. – I've found some SEO experiences very practical for these services.

How does it work?

I build a new website and rank it for local keywords in a specific niche? Then I contact companies that want to appear in my listicles? Some companies may also come through CPA networks?

If I had $10,000, I would invest it to build long-term online income. First, I’d spend around $3k–$4k on building 2–3 niche websites (domains, hosting, content, SEO tools). Then about $2k–$3k on high-quality backlinks and outreach to grow their authority. I’d keep $2k for content production (AI + human editing) to publish many SEO articles quickly. Around $1k would go to testing things like expired domains or small paid ads to see what works. The remaining $1k would stay as a buffer for unexpected costs or new opportunities. The goal would be to grow the sites and monetize them with affiliate marketing, ads, or lead generation so the $10k turns into a steady monthly income.

If I had $10k and SEO experience, I’d probably build a few local lead-gen sites in boring niches like roofing, cleaning, or dental. Rank them locally and sell the leads monthly to businesses. Recurring income models seem much safer than burning money on ads.

With $10k and SEO skills, I’d probably build a content site or niche affiliate project, then use the money for content and backlinks. Another good option is a small e-commerce brand where you can use SEO to drive free traffic over time.

With that amount of money, I would buy a few blogs that are already generating income for around $5k–$7k each. I would then invest the remaining funds to further develop those blogs and create stable passive income every month.

With a $10k budget, another practical route is focusing on SEO for local service providers such as dental practices, spas, cleaning services, beauty studios, and wedding vendors. These industries rely heavily on local search traffic, and in my experience SEO can generate consistent leads when done properly.

Put the $10k in savings and try to create a website plus merchant processing account, then create a service to sell to people on organic reach with different platforms. Each platform has its own niche that works best.
