UPDATE:

I sent 24 more letters out just to keep my phone ringing.. In regards to the first potential client.. I have a follow up meeting tomorrow at 1pm with him to finalize the deal, and move forward..

So far, so good.. I have a break from school coming up soon and i think i can crank out that 250 letter batch then. I have a new approach so i can gain more clients that don't have there businesses in my area.

Will update tomorrow with how the meeting goes.. Stay tuned guys!

Do you have a contract, if so would you be willing to share for those interested in following a similar journey?
 
Have you considered doing 7878, but with seo? E.g. printing search results, highlighting in red "Your competition is here" "Here's you". This may help you get more seo clients, I personally think seo would be easier to manage than reputation.

An update from the followup meeting: we discussed how we are gonna move forward, i told him i want 3 months of payments upfront, and he was taken back by this. e said he would need time to think about it. That was fine with me... i will call him tomorrow to see how we should proceed.

I HAVE DECIDED TO FILL THE JOURNEY WITH A NEW WAY TO MAKE MONEY... read on.

Since the ultimate goal of this thread is to make 100k, i thought it was appropriate to put this part in this thread as well.

I have purchased 4 Macro niche sites from napster today. I already have an adsense site that makes 300 a month, so i figured i could also do this with 4 others.

The main reason for doing this is so i can fill the spaces where there is not much going on with my offline marketing stuff, i can give a large update about the sites, and give a small update about the reputation management stuff I'm working on (or vice versa)

Note: Napster said the first site would be done in 7 days.

What do you guys think?

first month 400, every month after that 250.. i think thats pretty good for my first client.

Yeah that is pretty good. Are you going to do everything by hand or are you going to outsource some fivver/BST services?
 
Both, i will outsource most of the link building, and content writing. But will be doing all the social media stuff myself. I plan to make large authority youtube channels for each site.

Just re reading the thread and saw this. This is a great idea, i will look into this, and hopefully add some kind of twist.

Really am liking the way this company is working! However, you really need to fix your website. Your customers (your current possible one, that is) do not want to see a site that has dummy text in it, and other things that are miss spelled.

I would recommend you finishing your site before looking for more business!
 
I know, but I'm really pressed for time lately, and the potential customer I'm working with right now has not asked once if i have a website...

All the best for the journey. I think you need to have employees as well to achieve this target. Which state are you from in India ?
